I was really pleased with that first drive. The offense looked confident and moved the ball with ease against the best defense in the country and scored a touchdown to take an early lead. After that not much good happened. I thought we had opportunities to score, but this game was our worst game in awhile when it comes to execution. Hooker was the biggest issue. He had some overthrows and took some sacks when he should have gotten rid of the ball. I also thought our coaches made some bad decisions. The biggest one that comes to mind is going for it on 4th down when we would have been better served to have kicked a field goal and get some points against that awesome defense. I also thought Joe Milton looked improved when he came in at the end. He was throwing catchable balls and orchestrated a touchdown drive. We have to give kudos to this coaching staff for turning him into a serviceable quarterback. Overall, I was pleased with our effort. I especially liked our physicality. We were just outmanned. I'm still feeling good about our team and this coaching staff. Good things are coming. Let this coaching staff have another good offseason with a good recruiting class along with some big pickups in the transfer portal and it will be very interesting to see what we can do in the next two years. I really think the Florida curse is about to end. They are trash and our team has to notice that. We won't be scared when we play them next year. Those days are over. Go Vols!

I would have liked to see a better execution of pitch and catch. Hind sight on going for it on 4th for sure. In a game like that we needed TDs. Florida curse? They were playing better earlier this year and it was still early for HH.

Hind sight to earlier, HH named as starter early on and getting more snaps with the 1s. It might be worth slowing down to avoid flops and keep the same guys on defense. Play at a pace so they think they can sub, but quick enough to catch them in transition if they try.

Flopping is a great way to scheme against our pace.

The right timing of the flops pay dividends.
Anytime a player thinks they should call a timeout, that’s the time to flop. How often does a flop to slow momentum in a Basketball game happen. I know flopping happens to draw a foul, but what about flopping for a timely timeout?

OP, unfortunately this is what great defenses do. They made quick adjustments to what we were doing and we did not have players, or the adjustments to overcome it. Please remember that we are playing in the SEC with a short deck, and competing! We score more than anyone has scored against them this year and we have no where near to a full deck to pull from! I am loving what is going on in K town.

I believe if you make players sit out a minimum of 5 plays or the whole drive, that crap will stop
#95 or #96 for UGA was laughing both times he “Flopped” coming off field. My season seats are 8 rows off field right behind visitor bench.

I agree 100%. I don't like Soccer for a reason.

I wish Hooker would throw some 50/50 balls on 3rd downs and quit taking sacks or running out of bounds. Imagine having M Calloway back on this team with his ability to high point catching the ball

I know! He basically helped Guarantano get the Auburn and Kentucky wins in 2018 by going up and getting 50/50 balls.
