You are looking thru some very rose colored glasses. Take a look at the coaches after Neyland, do you see anybody there you would hire today? Based on performance there is only one....Phillip Fulmer.

George Cafego would have been my coach.

Johnny did a lot from this program as well. He coached past his prime too. I wouldn't trade what he did for this program either.

Now....where do we go from here?
