This and $4 will get you a gallon of gas.

- Stephens will be a good QB, not sure how good but he will at least be serviceable. That bomb today was a thing of beauty.

- Time to scour the flag football games on campus for someone who can block.

- Sit Foster and let Hardesty carry the load.

- Suspend Williams for at least a game for the punk ass move of punching Moreno in the side.

- Thank Eric Berry for being a bright spot on this abomination of a team.

- Fire all the coaches.

It was Gerald Williams who punched Moreno....and Hardesty did have the bulk of the carries today....Foster had only 3

(1)-Empty the bench
(2)-Clone Eric Berry
(3)-Hit the recruiting trail early and look for smaller faster offensive linemen and bigger meaner defensive linemen and nothing else.

Agreed -- let the younger players get some playing time before Fulmer ruins them too.

Someone needs to tell Fulmer that college football is not a "union shop". You don't have to play by seniority.

Or maybe he sees them in practice everyday and knows more about who should be playing than you.

My God, everyone on this message board is a coach.

Again. You people don't know anything about the players other than what you see on Saturday. You make matter-of-fact statements as if you are all better college football coaches than Phil Fulmer, hell, you don't even have to show up for practice and you know how to fix everything!

How in the hell are you even quasi-defending the coaches??? Yes, they see them every day in practice, and they also see them in games. Look back for threads after the UCLA game. Many of us here were calling for another QB then. It was painstakingly obvious Crompton was lost, yet it took 4 games for these coaches you defend to make a move.

Hindsight is always20/20, but I truly believe we are 4-2 now if Stephens came in the UCLA game when Crompton was hitting hot dog vendors and worms.

I'm defending the coaches at UT, I'm attacking the coaches on this forum. They think they have all the answers for everything but they don't, and they use such belligerent and hateful language, it's embarrassing as a Tennessee fan. But sadly, most of society is this way now.

The "coaches" on this forum are speaking from frustration. Were this game an isolated anomaly, then you wouldn't hear much if anything at all. This has been ongoing for way too long.

I guess Mark Levine was a better practice player than Jamal Lewis.

Do you know what the coaches and Wall St CEO's have in common?

Both stay with the same formula that got them there
Both always want more money
Both ignore problems and when to face them
Both ignore changes required to fix the problems
Both it's their way or no way
Both reap in the money even while the "company" fails

In today's paper someone who writes books about business and leadership said this...

"The reason why companies fail and go out of business;No.1 is arrogance, No.2 arrogance and No.3 arrogance"

Does that explain why a freshman AA from FSU is only getting 5 snaps a game?

I think the fact that he's not a good blocker is probably the reason. The other two tight ends are much better in that department and aren't too shabby as receivers, either. The guy had 28 catches for 300 yards at FSU. He's got 5 for 65 now.
