Here is my assessment of Erik Ainge after 4 miller high lifes:
He is shaky. And by "shaky", I mean he is streaky and inconsistent. He can be absolutely brilliant at times. But then at other times he makes repeated bad throws that are simply inexcusable.

I don't know if this is a negative or positive assessment. Sure, you want a guy that can be brilliant at times. But it really sucks when he makes the inexcusable drive stalling throws.

just my .02$.

Miller High Life isn't exactly brain fuel. I'm pretty sure its secret ingredient is urine.

Whatever floats your boat. I've just never liked it. It's probably my least favorite beer.

MLH is the only miller product that i enjoy. It's strange that I like MLH, but don't like miller lite. I think i'm probably in the minority in that respect.

The thing about QB's is that they're not going to put together great drives every play. There are a lot of things that have contributed to the failed drives..

Erik wanted back in the game, that's a good sign of being a warrior. I liked what I saw from him tonite. Hopefuly he'll be fine for the LSU game.

Good lord, he was 21-29 (or something close to it) for 279 yards and two TD's... at least 3 of those incompletions were catchable. If that's shaky, I'll take it.

Just stop trying, man. Some people are never happy.

I regret using the word 'shaky', he's been awesome considering we can't produce a 100-yard rushing game to save our life. He's a warrior. In my defense, I was nervously pounding the beer during the game.

It's all good, I was just trying to point out that Ainge's passing wasn't the reason that game was close.

You beat me to it. I was trying to look up his stats. He had a pretty solid game. By the way, we won.

I'm not sure if those are the official end of game stats, but it's pretty close.

We need to get the running game going or maybe, get a running game. If Ainge goes down, which he might have, we are in trouble.

I can only think of two throws that I'd consider bad. The overthrow to Smith (I think) on the sideline and the TD to Smith in the first quarter. Everything else looked fine, to my untrained eye...

Like RockyTop sayed, he showed leadership and that he wanted to play. I do recall that one drive tonight he had three recievers wide open and he missed all three of them. I was impressed that he didnt force anything (except that pass early on for a TD) but he needs to be more consistent.

He had goofy feet in those two, once he settled and got back on his toes, he threw some nice ones.

My take is Ainge is a great QB. Unfortunately, his struggles have come when everything is going bad. If our defense made stops then no one would be saying anything bad about him right now.

We won, so it's all that matters.
