My son posed a question to me. Would I rather Vandy beat Bama or would I rather Bama destroy Vandy? My answer was Vandy beating Bama always. He leans more towards Bama embarrassing Vandy. He's only 19, he hasn't developed the Bama hatred yet. Just curious where y'all are on this.

I'd be happy with either.

He’s 19 years old and TN has only beaten Bama 2..maybe 3 times in his life. If that’s hasn’t helped him develop a hate for Bama then I don’t know what would? I always root for Bama to lose. Now I do respect Bama, but TN was every bit the blue blood they were until Saban. I also had to endure the streak before 94 too, so yeah, I root for them to be knocked down a notch whenever possible.

I dislike Vandy more than AL. I lived in Nashville for years and Vandy fans are insufferable. At least AL has the history to brag but Vandy catches lightning in a bottle and all of a sudden they think they have arrived. I hope AL stomps them back to reality.

Watched some of Vandy Saturday, couldn’t believe it. When they scored they showed a section of the fans and only one person stood up and was cheering. Can’t imagine that happening in Neyland when the Vols score.
