It is. Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER). That's where I was stationed. I lived on the Air Force side for 1 of the 3 years I was up there.My son will be stationed in Anchorage for 36 months. He is Air force and he does aircraft structural maintenance. It's a joint base with Army the way I understand it.
Plenty to do. Anchorage is just like any other major city when it comes to restaurants/stores, just not as big lol.What's it like around there? Anything to do? How does the summer and winter work with the sun?
