- Kroger paid UK, not me, so I'll stick with the actual stadium name
- I hope our sound upgrade doesn't result in Neyland sounding like that. Couldn't hear myself think and none of that was crowd noise
- Classless sound operator. Blared music over the top every time the POTSB started playing. I understand it happening some, but it became obvious it was intentional and classless after a while
- Granted I'm an old-fart without really being old, but the loudspeaker music selection was just horrid.
- The seating for visitors is so cut-up it makes it hard for the visiting fans to gain much traction. Good strategy on their part, but frustrating for visitors.
- The cheerleading from the pressbox was absurd. I hope we never have to resort to that.
- Their fans are an embarrassment to football as far as cheering and making noise. They love to chirp individually, but as a group the place felt like a observation facility, not a stadium.
- Stadium itself is nice enough and the bleacher back is a neat idea. It was nice to not worry about my knees hitting the person in front of me.
- Video board on both ends did nothing to enhance my experience. Honestly a little smaller boards in the four corners would have been more effective.
- General Neyland's design with the steeper slopes keeping the fans closer to the field is so much better than the designs of most other stadiums that lay back from the field. Guys we're so fortunate and so spoiled to have Neyland. The team and coaches are doing their part now, let's do ours to make it an unrivaled experience for the team and recruits.

Excellent write-up, we should never forget how fortunate we are to have the stadium and game day experience we’re blessed with.
GO VOLS!!!

Agree with the vast majority of the comments.

However, kensucky football has stunk for 70 years. So, I do understand the music over the top of POTS, and the announcer screaming BENNIE SNELLS JUNIOR on very play.

As far as the music selections, from previous years, I love it. But, I don't know your age so it may not be your vintage.

Did they play this one? I like it loud!

Have to say it's pretty cool when they play, "My Old Kentucky Home." I love Lexington, one of my favorite cities anywhere especially in April and October when Keeneland is running. Give their fans credit, as mediocre as their program has been over the years they still show up in pretty good numbers.

Agreed OP, that SCjr game this season was the loudest Neyland has been since we beat Florida in 2016, hoping for more of these games in the future!

Agree with most, as well. Not a fan of the choice of music played, figure I'm not the target audience, but the volume level was ridiculous. Couldn't chat with the person next to me, couldn't hear the pep band that was only about 25 seats away. Can't really knock the visitor seating, UT gives visitors the NE corner of the lower deck and the top 5 rows of the south upper deck, a long ways away. Also can't knock the pa announcer, cause I cringe at Neyland on every Guns n Roses lead in to "It's thiiiiiiiirrrrrrdddddd down". I do like the bench backs, the concourses have more room (at least compared to my south end zone), and standing at the tunnel to the Tennessee section I could see concessions with greek food, barbeque, a chik fil a, and regular stadium food, no roaming required.

Tennessee needs play by play announcers who don't get very excited when the other team makes a big play like Bob and Tim do. It seems like they're more excited by the opponent's big plays than by Tennessee's!

I agree the music was terrible. Got tired of hearing it. Not a good place to watch

I don't like our third down music and PA cheerleading either. Just didn't mind criticizing theirs. :)
