:cray: could he look like he was crying any more than he did? Jeez, everytime they showed his mug, he looked like he was about to break down....half the game he was in full on pout mode.

Certainly always seems to have that exasperated "Whaaa?!" look on his face... I find it kinda humorous, especially when the Vols are beating him.

Sort of cross-posted from the game thread, but: Brady's a loser. Terrible coach. Does the least with the most talent. Pouts and whines and throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. His team plays like a bunch of thugs, outside of Glen Davis, who I respect (and wish he was in orange.) Obviously can't teach fundamentals, as shown by his team's complete ineptitude at handling the ball. (UT turned them over 25 times last year in Baton Rouge and LOST.)

LSU has a certain level of hoops tradition to uphold, going back to Pistol Pete, and eventually their fans will railroad Brady out of Baton Rouge so he can take a job he's more suited for, such as, oh, Charleston Southern.

Whatever he was doing, it almost worked. The refs did what they could to keep him happy.

Yeah, the ESPN announcers kept talking about how Glen Davis seemed so dejected, had no energy, etc, and I kept thinking "I would have the same problem too if I had to play for that a**munch."

If I was playing Pictionary and was trying to get somebody to guess "John Brady" I would simply draw some feminine hygiene products.

He is terrible as was the old ref last night. He called a fool on Bradshaw when Bradshaw got elbowed in the face.

Fun post game comments from Brady. Notice how he puts down Jordan Howell at the end. What an idiot a**hole! :censored:

Excerpted from 2/7/2007 - Lofton Returns, Helps Lead Tennessee Past LSU, 70-67 - Sports - Chattanoogan.com

LSU HEAD COACH JOHN BRADY: "I think the difference in the game was the stretch where we gave up three consecutive offensive rebounds, they score, and they get two offensive rebounds and score again. We made them miss, but we could not cover the loose ball, get the rebound and keep them from scoring. And then Jordan Howell hits a 3-point shot with five seconds left on the shot clock. Even that was a result of an offensive rebound.

"It gets back to critical plays at critical times for this team. Glen Davis probably got a little impatient at times and took a couple of ill-advised shots. But we were able to score without him.

"We hold them to 38 percent shooting at their place, 23 percent from 3-point range, we out-rebound them by nine - I do not know. We get more rebounds than they do, but the ones they got were at critical moments in the game that allowed them to score. That is really kind of where it is.

"It is just disappointing and difficult not to be able to convert and make plays at critical moments to win games like this. I do not fault the rebounding effort and I do not fault the defensive effort because the stats bear it out. I just fought the decision-making at crucial moments, getting the rebound or making the opportune shot. We missed better shots down the stretch than the 3-pointer their guy made, and it is not like that guy is Pete Maravich running around out there."
