you would think we just beat Alabama with the way we were celebrating. I haven't seen that since the last scene of Rudy.

This win only softens the decent a little....bottom is not yet in sight.

I think we're all just in relief that we didn't lose this game. Otherwise, this board would have crashed.

I didn't really care for the celebration at the end though. Yes, we're happy we won ,but we did not deserve it at all. Just like Dooley said, we were lucky and were outplayed in all facets of the game.

Actually, it's what is best for this young team. They just got badly outplayed before they go through a gauntlet of teams in the next month but still won. It 1. gives them some momentum that they actually won and 2. gives them a lot to look at on film and see how bad they played.

The celebration was due to the better team not winning. We STOLE that one. UAB deserved to win.

well we probably wont have much to celebrate this year or for a while...its good to win one we didnt deserve to for once instead of having to say we coulda woulda shoulda

UAB had 544 yds and we only got 287????? We will do good to win an SEC game with stats like that!

We have to remember that this game is only the 2nd game alot of the young men on the team have won. We will get better and they will continue to try and improve each game but we all know its going to be a real long season.

I mean a win is a win, but I would feel embarrassed after a performance like that! Dooley should have got their asses together and made them quickly enter the locker room, instead of jumping around like a bunch of idiots. Imo, there is nothing to be happy about after a win like that.

I agree. Carrying Moore off the field is something you do after you beat Florida, not UAB.

All the celebrations were because they know that they will probably not have the opportunity do that in the month of October....although I am hoping for a win in Georgia.

i saw the celebration as hopefully the moment every team needs when they come together through adversity...ill admit we shouldnt have had to celebrate after UAB but the team fought through a tough situation in overtime and did manage a win. Hopefully the team uses this moment to come together as a team and work together to get better. Let the kids celebrate for a moment then lets get back to work and focus on fixing what needs to be fixed for the next game.
