Running through the T against Bama in 90. Not sure why, but that game felt like it was ours. For some reason I remember every detail of coming out on the feild during that game more than any other. Youd think Id wanna put the outcome and anything about that game far in the back of my mind.

1. 98 v FL, kick sailed wide left. upper deck was shaking. goal posts went down in 3 seconds. (I have a piece of it) I was able to get down on the field, but it took forever.

2. 98 v ARK it was raining all day. i had great tix, 4th row on 40. my friend tried to get me to leave b/c we were developing cold. however i wanted to wait. storner's fumbled happened directly in front of us. 7 straight run plays. i think it was the SAME PLAY.

3. UGA. not sure of the year but they had all this hype. couple yr ago def this decade. we came out and put the SMACKDOWN on the b!tches!!! 28-0 in 2nd qt.

Speaking of Billy Ratliff I ran into him at Verizon the other day. Very nice guy, we talked about the game a bit, he said he knew we were going to score when he recovered that fumble. He also had his ring on and he let me hold it and check it out. Would have got pics but my cell was in Douglas lake at the time.

He will forever be my fav Vol. His heart and determination he showed during his UT career could be made into a movie.

I was there that day with my dad and it was my first Vol game ever. I credit my dad for staying the whole time because I was only 8 and wanted to get the hell out of there. Watching the game nowadays, I don't know that I've ever seen a RB run with as much heart or determination as Travis Henry did on the plays that followed the fumble. His drive on that play, to me, is what putting on the Orange and White is all about.

ARKANSAS
This whole season was so magical. It was pouring and i was stewing due to the fact i traded my tickets plus $ to a scalper to get seats in the dry. turns out the tickets were one row from dry and the water ran off the roof on our heads. After the failed fourth down i jumped up and said " lets get out of here" the old man beside me said "its not over yet " and i muttered "might as well be" . We made our way down the ramp and felt the earthquake. I quickly put my head phones back on and we rushed back in. We watched the rest of the game from the top of the lower level and i swear it was so loud the support cables were shaking. To this day i NEVER, EVER, leave a game early. never. (much to my wife's dismay).

FLORIDA
Totally different day. gorgeous outside. I was with my best friend who is deceased now. we spent the entire day walking around enjoying the atmosphere. If im not mistaken they released the eagle during the national anthem. my friend laughed at me for getting misty eyed. we had great seats on the 40 yd line. we were already packed in and some hairy guy in orange t shirt and overalls squeezes in beside us .Im almost positive he was in the wrong seat.We didnt argue he shared his peach snapps:rock:. I still remember the sound of the hit Al Wilson forced the fumble on and the call of JW." no sir-ree, no sir-ree. We even helped walk the goal post down cumberland.( these days we would have gotten tazered and pepper sprayed.) Awesome memories with a dearly missed friend.

I can only hope things get back to those times so my son can have memories like these. ( sorry for the long post).

I was there as well. I thought we only hung 28 on them in the 1st quarter. My memory isn't what it used to be.
Great Post! My favorite moment would have to be my first ever game at Neyland in 2000 against Arkansas. I was so nervous and excited my stomach was upset. I felt like I was about to play. I remember running to the stadium and watching the pregame and watching us run through the T. The chill bumps went all over my body and I remember us Jumping on Arky 35 to 0 in the 1st quarter and Travis Henry stiff arming the Hell out of their DB on a TD run. I will never forget my first UT game as we whipped the mess out of Arky 63 to 20!

1998 Tennessee vs Florida. The place was electric from start to finish. That is the best sporting event I have attended in my life. My favorite road game was 1995 at Alabama. Place got quiet in a hurry and stayed that way.

The first game I remember going to was 1980 Souther Cal. We lost on a last second FG.

'82 Bama and seeing Bear Bryant leaning up against the goal post was pretty cool. UT won and broke the Bama streak of 11 games.

'98 UF, of course.

One of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned is the '95 UGA game. Some friends of mine were up from Atlanta but couldn't get into the game. They drank outside the stadium and they said it was so loud when the game winning FG went through. This was the year before the North Endzone upper deck was built.

My favorite memory hasn't happened yet. It will be when I get to take my kids to their first game. Can't wait to see their faces!!!

The 1998 UT / Florida game. I remember people carrying the goal posts down Cumberland Avenue. It was insane. The whole strip was filled with a sea of orange singing Rocky Top.

Something tells me the UT-LSU is going to be another Epic. Going to be a lot of Bruised and Battered players come Sunday Morning.

This was mine too....i was sitting in the lower corner where he was running towards...it was one on the most beastly runs ever! as i remember it though, it was a linebacker that he one-arm bench pressed onto his ass on his way to the checkerboard....i've been searching for a clip of that play for years but no luck yet

On the field after 98 Florida win, when random hottie, that I had never seen before or after, jumped in my arms and pressed her beautiful thingies in my face. Then finding another hottie at Charlie Peppers later that evening. That entire day was magical!

Legion Field '97 (?) Payton throws across the middle - 80 yd Touchdown on first play. Two drives later, Vols up 14-0, 3rd and goal, Payton runs a naked bootleg to the leftside untouched for a 21-0 lead. Sitting in the middle of Tide Pride. Great game
