I feel the need to say this today, partly to be cathartic and partly to get some folks off the ledge.

You all realize we had as the right side of our line: freshmen (Robertson) freshmen (Thomas) freshman (Wolf). Holy crap..... absorb that a moment. If you want to be pissed at the adults who give these kids direction, fire away. They deserve it. But don't bash the young men.

I love UT, I'm sure you do too. It is completely fair to bash bad coaching decisions. It is not fair to kill 17-22 year olds who played their hearts out.

Most bashing I've seen is directed at the coaching staff.

If it is to be merged so be it. The University of Tennessee means more to me than it should. I am natively a Georgian raised as an Alabama football fan. I spent my teenage years singing Rocky Top only because I moved to Tennessee. When it was time for me to pick a school to go to I went to ETSU because it was close to my ailing Mom. But my heart bleeds orange. I love this state and I love those who disagree with me too. That's all I wanted to say.

Do you realize how many times Tennessee has lost to a backup quarterback? Yes, a backup beat Tennessee in two possessions!

I agree the men played their hearts out. Just would like to see the coaches and players go out and get a BIG win.

Yes I realize that. Saturday stung. Again... criticize coaching all you want. Certainly I've done some of that. But we didn't lose because those guys were loafing.... we lost bc their guys were better than ours... and bc their staff put their guys in better positions to succeed.

Haven't really seen any player bashing except "OL sucks" comments which isn't directed at any player. And, they'd probably agree they suck right now. We're all still and will remain 100% behind them. They will be great one day. Just keep working.

Offensive line play is technique driven and has a VERY steep learning curve from high school to SEC level. The premise that these kids can preform at SEC level right now is outright ridiculous. They are learning and it is that simple. Any fan base has it's share of folks who have never played the sport they follow and become self proclaimed experts. Rest assured those who determine coaching decisions are well aware of the situation at hand.
