I was looking through a childhood photo album and found a few ticket stubs from my first UT game (1975), my first Orange/White game (1982) and one of two times I saw Hershel Walker play for UGA...the other game was against Ole Miss in Oxford, but I cannot find the ticket stub for that game. Thought I'd share with y'all....

Notice the prices....Ha!!

To this day (of coarse I havent been to every game), the loudest and craziest I've ever seen Neyland was the 90' Notre Dame game. It's was absolutely nuts...until Rocket ran around the end for the winning TD...you could hear a pin drop.

I'm guessing the 98' Florida game was completely unbelievable!! Understatement, I'm sure.

Ya, but I vividly remember (personally) feeling like someone knocked the air out of Neyland Stadium's gut when Rocket turned on the jets....like Whoa!!! What just happened?!

I was at that LSU game, which was at the beginning of my senior year at UT. We won that game. My student ticket was free and no camping out was necessary since LSU wasn't a particularly strong opponent that year. Two weeks later, we lost at home to North Texas State. We also lost to Vandy that year. Needless to say, it got to be really ugly for Bill Battle.

At first I thought, man what a cheap admission price. Then I came to my senses and realized who our Congress has put in control of our national monetary policy. That's what relentless printing of money (hiddwn taxation) will do. :cray:

Nevertheless, I'll never forget my first game in the 70s, an OW game. Jackie Walker played and my brothers rushed the field to get autographs. By the time I got over the fence the cops had me by the arm. Terror to an 8 yr old. Luckily no arrest.

Wow!!! I was 6 years old at this game. My interest was cotton candy. Although I do remember holding my ears when UT scored, because it was so loud...

I also remember it taking forever to drive from West TN to Knoxville. My dad drove a 68' Ford Bronco and I'm pretty sure we topped out at 55mph. Back then, the drive to Knoxville took aroun 6 hours...

I have you beat by a bit. This is a page from the game program of the first game I went to. It was Sept 27, 1975. UT v Aub.

Of course note the stadium but more importantly look at the concessions prices.
