Have a blast... That guy is hilarious. His performances on Comedy Central Presents and in the movie Grandma's Boy have me in tears every time I see them.

Amazing show. Swardson owned it. I sat next to David Spade, who lives in Phoenix and was in Benchwarmers, where Swardson had a role. Tempe Improv is a great place, but charges a TON for cocktails.

Spade also had a hilarious cameo in Grandma's Boy... You ever seen that movie? "Whatever, guy blow..." :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol:

I love hitting up comedy clubs. Seen some good ones the last 5 years or so. Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedberg, Rich Vos, Dave Mordal, Jim Brewer, Lewis Black, Arj Barker, Doug Benson and a few more I can't remember. Plus, lots of openers and other folks that were great.

I always hit one when I'm in Vegas and the wife and I will usually hit one when we vacation. I don't get the local club too much, but I've been down there 5 or 6 times.

I saw Lewis Black here in Orlando at end of December and have tix for Gaffigan in March.

God rest his soul, Mitch Hedberg is the funniest comedian I've ever seen live.

Ditto. Right ahead of Lewis Black for me. There's just something about seeing Mitch live that you can't really get when you listen to a cd.

He definitely had a style that you either got or you didn't. It was a simple formula: Do Steven Wright's act while acting wasted with a guy sitting behind you playing the bass all during your act.

Mitch was cool. It's sad to hear some writeups of the last shows he did when he had obviously given up and was drugging himself to death.

Lots of people hate Carrottop, but that man puts on a great show.

Personally, I think the best show I've seen was Jim Gaffigan the first time. I didn't know any of his material and barely knew the guy. He was the tall balding guy from Ellen, which I had seen about 20 minutes of. Mitch was solid, but I'd heard most of his material so it just wasn't the best show ever. I'm a huge fan so and I'm thankful I saw and shook his hand before he left us.

Lewis Black is a special breed. He breathes comedy and after many years is a professional in every sense of the term. I caught him for free at UT years ago. I didn't know if he was speaking as a professional or a comedien since it was free. Ended up being over an hour of current day material. He did about 20 minutes of Q&A with the audience afterwards and he was killing folks. Great fun seeing a master like him work.

"High score... What does that mean? Did I break it?"
"No, you can't **** on my dad."
"Do you have bathrooms here or do I have to s**t in a plant?"
"Dude... Jerking off on my mom is one thing. But banging your grandmother and her roommates? That's like... Legendary."
"This chick's p***y smelled like the great depression."
"What's up douche bigalow?"
