Found out this afternoon that my first child will be born on the day of our glorious opener. I've been nervous about the birth and the season for months now. I can't help but feel like this is an awesome omen. Hope everyone enjoys the game. GBO!!!!

FYI, my first 2 were induced, but my son actually had other ideas. When the maternity ward suddenly got full with other expectant mothers, they took my wife off of the drip and the contractions stopped. We spent the night in the hospital and they started back up again early the next morning. He finally decided to join us a few minutes before midnight the next day.

So your kid might not come tomorrow after all. Just make sure they put your wife in a room with a working TV.
