Curt Maggitt. I am impressed with his film. He is so fast off the edge it reminds me of LL. When have we had an edge rusher like him. It may take a couple of years but this kid will be a beast.

I agree. His speed was what stood out to me when I watched his video.

Richardson. If he puts in the work, you're looking at a franchise LT in the NFL.

I'd be interested to learn the reasons behind the choices in this thread.

Randolph. He is underrated by the services for some reason. He is the best DB in Georgia in my opinion. Early commit and never waivered.

Richardson:

-For a 6'6 guy to have his wingspan...it's sick. Almost unfair.

-Solid, solid footwork. Needs work though.

-Very strong.

-Huge kid (320), but doesn't lose athleticism and isn't it all fat.

Byron Moore, Pat Martin and Alan Posey

Alan - because he joined volnation

Pat - committed early and became a key recruiter

Byron - will have immediate impact in secondary

D. Arnett, WR that will contribute from day 1 and will make some big plays for us this year (quick feet and has good hands)

I would also be thrilled if Saulsberry and Williams from Gainesville, FL turn out to be studs. Gator fans would be pissed, which brings me great happiness.

Big time. Two guys from the same highschool right in UF's back yard. Hope this turns into a decent pipeline for us.

Marlin Lane: My feelings about Chaney and his downright refusal to run the ball when it needs to be run are well documented on these boards. I think ML is the guy that forces Chaney's hand so to speak. He is an every down back that has homerun speed and power. He's the kind of back that can give you 25 carries and production consistently, which is what we really lack right now in the back field. A real threat at running back to go along with our passing attack and a blossoming OLine is going to be the key to our offense going forward.

Honorable Mentions: Maurice Couch and Byron Moore. I think both will start/be in the starting rotation at their position from jump street. Couch gives us a real presence in the middle that we desperately need. Moore gives us the chance to move our best player (J Jackson) around in the secondary where he can ball hawk and make plays.
