I just wanna say sorry and please don't rag me for this one, i really mean it by talking all the smack i did talk, Tennessee is just not playing with any heart, when they are down, you can forget it and another big PROBLEM, once again is Cromptons dumb azz and the coaches being dumb azzes as well, Ok guys lets see we have two qb's on the bench that can step in but I don't think we should because Crompton has waited and blah blah blah blah. Crompton sucks, he is not a qb, he never will be a qb, he's just not cut out to be qb. Throwing the ball over receivers heads 50 foot in the air, trying to scramble when he can not run at all. I mean afterall that is why BJ Coleman and Nick Stephens were recruited, for situations like this, let them in the game and let them prove themselves, please. I had one guy earlier in the week say that Stephens and Coleman have not warranted any reason they shouldn't start, well that is because of A. They haven't had the opportunity and B. The coaches won't even let them. Crompton's parents must be puttin a lot of money in the program or something.

My feelings though is that I believe that may be the major reason for this teams failure this year, truly pathetic. I believe we lose ballgames because when Crompton can't do anything and keeps the defense out on the field for most of the game, it wears em down and there is no heart left. Please can someone tell the coaching staff along with Fulmer that Crompton is not the freaking solution. I truly believe that if Coleman or Stephens become a starter, it might be a better year.

I'll say this much, it can't get any worse if Stephens or Coleman starts

we really have nothing else to lose in my eyes. i'd rather see coleman or stephens out there for the rest of the year getting experience and seeing what they can do. i for one, will not be so critical of their play seeing as they can improve, whereas crompton shows no upside what so ever.

I really dont know anymore. With our OL Peyton might have a hard time.

It still comes down to coaching. Until the change is made there, the other fixes are just a Band Aid

an interesting thought is that when/if Nick Stephens gets a shot and he has any grain of success, Fulmer is gonna catch hell for not giving him a shot, sooner. he is going to look incompetent, no matter what...his refusal to at least try another qb will blow up in his face.

Stephens looked good when he threw the ball from deep in our territory against UAB. Cutcliffe was high on BJ Coleman, so that's good enough for me. Sit the unibrow, let the kids have a shot. At least we can hopefully see some improvement from them as we are taking our lumps.

Peyton would be able to process the defense quickly and get rid of the ball. You can't blame the OL a lot of the time when Crompton is just standing there holding the ball too long.

It is obvious he does not know where the receivers are supposed to be. He's a hard worker, a loyal guy and has deserved a shot, but there is no excuse for keeping him in with his demonstrated lack of play making ability.

I take that back- that scramble for the first down did show some grit, but a qb cannot game in and game out take shots to the head like Crompton does.
