My car repair escapade

I have an 01 explorer sport trac with 140,000 miles on it, haven't had a single problem with it and I've abused it.

Check the reliability on the new Hyundai and Kia vehicles, their value will surprise you. I have driven the Hyundai Equus and Genesis and they are right there in quality and ride with cars costing twice as much.

I have an 04 Kia Amanti with 170,000 plus miles and have replaced the timing belt twice for scheduled maintenance and it runs like a top and uses no oil. I would not hesitate taking it cross country if I needed to.

But, the guy who has been stuck in Memphis would rather walk.

I... Will actually vouch for some of the new Hyundai/Kia models.

SOME.

The Genesis Coupe 2.0T r-spec is pound for pound and dollar for dollar the best sports car on the market right now. I recently had a chance to ride around in a new Equus (the prestige model or whatever the higher end one is) and I can honestly say I've never been in a much nicer car for less than $100k, and that includes 7 series and S class.

The Kia Soul has easily supplanted the Scion xB as the best toaster on wheels. It's what the first one was: Small, efficient and extremely practical. The hamster ads annoy me to no end, but what are you gonna do.

Most of the Kia line still has interiors that lag far behind their Japanese counterparts, but they're at least in the same league in terms of reliability, and still have one of the best warranties known to mankind.

Catadamnlytic converter issue. quoted $1100 today. Don't think I can pass emissions unless I get it fixed. Anyone know anything about it? Nissan.

I've had 2. An 07 EX?(whatever the top of the line was w/ navi) and an 08 Si w/ navi
You traded an 08 civic SI for a 2010 fusion Hybrid???:lolabove: I have a 99 civic coupe with a built integra GSR swap. About to put the boost to it. I wouldn't trade it for two fusion hybrids.
