I'm not a NASCAR person but that seems like a really nice gift. I guess I would compare it to getting a football signed by Peyton, which would be neat.

Got one of those for my 18th birthday. This was 1996.

It reads "To Eric, Happy 18th Birthday...Peyton Manning #16"

It sits in a case now.

Cool gift! I've seen them advertised on "FOR RACE FANS ONLY" and it's probably in the price range of $190 give or take $25.
I have about 30 1/64 size. I have a 1/24 of Gordon and my daughter has a 1/24 of Dale Jr. I also bought a 1/24 size of the UT car while in K-town recently. Got it on sale for $20, normally $30.
We're big NASCAR fans! My wife likes Ryan Newman, Jeff Gordon is my favorite and my daughter is a Dale Jr. fan.

I am not sure what that means. If you are saying that F-1 rules any type of oval track racing than I am in 100% agreement. I have never understood the allure of watching cars go round-and-round in a circle. If you want to watch something go round-and-round why not just drop a styrofoam peanut in your toilet and flush. Repeat the process 300 to 500 times.

I am saying that open wheel racing teaches these guys to race better, whether it be F-1, Indy, Sprint, Midgets or outlaws - it is a lot harder than making left hand turns all day long - have any of the NASCAR fans figured out why the Good Ol' Boys never win the road courses??? it b/c they have to turn right and they ain't used to that!!!!
