"Except" not "accept". See how easy it is to make a mistake (I assume you know the difference in the two words) when you are only sitting behind the keyboard. How easy do you think it is in a pressure filled game? You weren't even facing a play clock. Don't be so critical, CBJ makes some great decisions as well.

Im thinking that your Wrong on all counts. How many Bowl games has he taken us to? How long were we out of the top 25? We now have depth even with injuries. And by the way I have my cigar ready to smoke on Saturday. And Go Vols!

All the pumpers should take back the criticism of me. I've never been a fan of Butch. It's not personal...he's just a terrible coach in every capacity. No apologies from me for being honest. One day y'all will all realize I was right

I agree with you except for 1 decision. I think the Bob Shoop hire was a good decision. Now, if he will just make a good OC hire, we could get past this good team state and get to the great team state. We will NEVER win a natty with DeBored as OC. Run up the middle, run up the middle , pass a screen out to the side for 3 yards does not move the ball, especially when teams have seen this on film. When we are down by 2 or 3 TDs in the 2nd half and open up the offense, low and behold, we move the ball down field. Who would have thought. When Dobbs rolls out, he doesn't feel so much pressure, had more time and sometimes runs and gets the 1st down himself. Why did he stay in the pocket every time yesterday and let himself get sacked?

Completely agree with everything you said. And yes the shoop hire was great. I think he's done a good job with what he's been given. Almost all our injuries are on defense, and the offense give the defense no help whatsoever by going 3 and out so often

I've been promoting it for nearly the entire time he's been here. It's not any one thing. Well I guess you could sum up a lot of it under conservatism. We've multiple times taken a knee prior to half when we desperately need points and had the momentum. Vandy and usc(e) come to mind. But he did it again against ta&m. It's just so obvious his entire gameplan every week is to just run out the clock and be safe. And that's ok when you're clearly outmanned as we were against bama. Not so when you're playing app state or Ohio. It's just that if I've never in my life seen a coach that epitomizes "coaching to not lose as opposed to coaching to win"...its Butch jones. AND THATS A LOSER MENTALITY. I tell my young so to always go down swinging! The players deserve more. The assistant coaches deserve more. And this fan base deserves more. We deserve a coach that will have confidence in his team and that has some freaking guys
