My best friend is an Alabama fan. Whole family lives in Bham but he grew up in Bristol and went to ETSU. Can’t blame him for being born ugly. Still a fun guy.

Two of my best friends are Bama fans. We watch football together all the time. One of them makes a pretty mean batch of moonshine, for what it's worth. We give each other a hard time, but it's all in good fun, and no one walks away butthurt. We are united in our hatred of the Swamp Donkeys and the Suckeyes. And both of them hate to be losing Pruitt.

My best friend from high school is one, I was his best man at his wedding and he was my best man. Maybe you really are just that unlucky to never have met a decent Bama fan, but it's not because they're Bama fans, it's because they're s**tty people.

Some people have lives. We realize it is just a game. Not living in TN, if I only had friends that were vols, I would have a pitiful life, especially since I lived overseas for quite a long time. :hi:

JK, but there's plenty Vol fans that would like to be your friend and would treat you much better. Some that knows your pain and not just try and make you feel better.

You've probably never met one. You'll have to let go of Willy sometime and step outside, breathe fresh air, and just say "Hi" to real people. (With Willy tucked away of course).

You might even be surprised to find out that in both states, and many others, that fans of both schools go to church together too.

I actually have more friends that are fans of other SEC schools than TN friends...mainly bc so many of us are awful. Case and point that post. :lolabove:

It's called perspective dude. I'm all for supporting your team, including never pulling for your main rivals. However if you actually don't like a person simply because of who they pull for then I'm seriously concerned for you. Unless you are a player or coach then football is nothing more than entertainment.
