My Alabama friends are mad at us

I had a thread earlier about my Auburn buddies. The beat Bama and were heading to the SECC game and all Finebaum and Booger wanted to talk about was the Currie/Schiano fiasco. Talk about stealing their thunder. I laughed and laughed.

Now, Bama is going to be in a playoff game. Every time the camera shows the DC during the game, they will be Talking about Pruitt and Tennessee. It will be the best advertising you could ever hope for, AND.. if Bama is losing the game, even sweeter- just keep mentioning Tennessee over and over again.

Don't fret guys. It'll make that game palatable to watch.

I live here. Some of them are actually educated and OK. Easier when Fulmer was under their skin. Hope that is happening again.

I have friends that attended several SEC schools that is not Tennessee, they are all great until we play them on a given Saturday. Foes for a day, then back to friends. GO VOLS

I have several Alabama friends that are mostly nice. I actually sit next to one at work, and I live in Indiana.

I'm an idiot because I don't like Alabama and don't want friends that like the team I've hated my whole life?? What in the actual hell is going on in 2017

I live in Bhm, 24 years. Never had any problem with Bama fans. Just good natured fun. In fact would rather hang with a group of Bama fans then Auburn.

You would be surprised how many Bama (the older ones) fans actually want to see UT get back on their feet. They remember when the Bama/UT game was bigger then the Iron Bowl.

Dang dude come on. My best friend played at Bama, had a daughter go to UT, pulls for the Vols all games but Bama game. Wants us to be good again so when we play it can be a real battle. And he loves Pruitt, and hates to lose him. But, like uga, he thinks we finally got it right

I guess I'm in the minority on this. I've never met a decent Bama fan and I'm being honest.

My wife and step daughter are Alabama fans....I lock them out of the house periodically...but what else can I do? I am raising my sons right. TN all the way...

My wife and two youngest are saw fans since we live here, and my oldest says she's a gator fan. She doesn't really follow football, just does it to annoy me. I've literally locked all 4 outside at some point in the past decade😆

Most I work with are in denial that it's happening lol. They all recognize that Pruitt is a very good coach and they really don't want to lose him. I would say their opinion of him is higher than the opinion they had of Kirby. Not saying he will be better/worse/the same as Kirby as a HC, but he is very, very valued at UA.

If you don't live in TN it's probably pretty common to have friends/family that are fans of other schools. Almost every friend/family that I have are UK or U of L fans. I have one Bama friend and he's pissed Pruitt is leaving and that we finally have a coach that can coach. I only have 2 friends in real life that are Tennessee fans.
