My 2010 top defenses in sec. Vols 5th

I'd wait to see him on the field before making such a strong assessment. Though I don't expect that he'll be better than M. Hughes, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him pushing to take over M. Walls at the other DT spot by season's end.

With those 3 leading the way at DT, and talented depth at DE, this season's DL could turn out to be quite a dominating one.

Florida people have seen him on the field.

No they haven't. He redshirted, then was injured. Never played a snap. Did enough in JUCO to still be highly rated.

As I stated before, it would probably be wiser to see him play before deciding that he's a bust.

Okay. Florida doesn't hold practices on a field. Anything else?

He was considered overweight and lazy at UF. JUCO doesn't magically heal all that.

I'm sure Brown has matured. However, remember Kenny O'Neal. He was a highly thought of JUCO WR that was considered lazy.

He did real well.

There's a good chance Brown's not even eligible this year anyways.

does that mean UF people never saw him on the field?

A handful of upset Fla. fans seeing him on the practice field vs recruiting experts seeing him actually playing in games.

I think I'll stick with the experts on this one.

All one has to do is look at the way our fans dog anyone that leaves our program to understand that some things need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Ive actually heard other florida fans on this very sight say that he was as hard a worker as there is. But when someone says "biggest waste of talent ever" that measn the player must be pretty darn talented

what? The UF staff has seen him on the field.

Who is dogging anything? You said that those guys haven't seen him on the field and made an evaluation in letting him get away. Come on.

Show me any article were the Fla. staff is dogging him and I'll buy it. Otherwise, I chalk it up as disgruntled fans that didn't get the production they expected from a highly touted recruit before he failed out of school.

Brown's problems are in the classroom, not on the field.

THe guy came to UF with big expectations because he has big talent.

Big talent does not equal big success though.

He's not smart, he struggles in class, and he has a hard time keeping his intensity up during practice. As bad as UF was hurting at DT when he was recruited, he still had no chance of seeing the field.

Anyone that said he was a hard worker at UF is clearly uninformed. UF fans in the know saw the writing on the wall for this kid months before he flunked out.

I really do hope he has success at UT. Everyone says he's a good kid.

I just don't see him being a big a contributor.

If all we get out of him next season is a quality backup behind Walls and Hughes, that would go a long way towards shoring up the DT position.

Anything more would be a bonus.

Honestly, I'll be amazed if he can even stay eligible.

I believe he'll do what it takes to play this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if he finds himself in trouble again for 2011. He may very well be a "one and done."

Florida lost some players and their coordinator on. They could struggle early on D. Vandy is always solid on D under Bobby Johnson, they just aren't even competent on offense. Georgia has talent if their new coordinator can teach them to play fundamentally sound (tackle) they will be improved.

Mr. BigOrangePassion1, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I think this covers about all of your post lately.

I think Florida will be fine, unless the guy they hired is a complete idiot. And since Urban meyer is such a good coach and has been so money with most of his hires, I have faith in his decisions until proven otherwise.

They have a ton of experience and talent on the roster. Especially on the line.
