Who is your pick for the MVP of our first game?

I will say Hardesty since I think we run the ball all day. I don't expect (or hope) to see over 20-25 passing attempts from our qb.

I hope its Crompton. I would like to see him ready and comfortable and throwing TD's left and right. But, most likely it will be Hardesty with a couple TDs.

I dont think Hardesty will be the MVP in this one due to our opponent and the fact that the freshman should play early and often in this one. I look for the MVP to be one of our D lineman.

Chad Cunningham because this game will be at test of wills and a battle for field position.

I think it will be Crompton. Kiffin is a smart guy and knows our QB's are going to need confidence going into the UCLA and Fla games, so he will a consorted effort to give Crompton a great day vs WKU. 260+ yds and a couple of TD's

I'm going to say Chris Walker, or Eric Berry. WKU has no quarterback, but a decent run game. I think we'll force WKU to pass after our D-line shuts them down for a while, and then our secondary should have a field day.

Coach O.

hes going to be so fired up and have so much pent up emotion that hes going to close-line the first WKU player to come his way down the sideline.

but seriously, more than likely a RB. idk about Hardesty though. if he can rack up 80+ yards and a TD or 2 in the first half, i expect Poole/Oku/Brown pending the appeal results to get the load of carries in the second half to keep Hardesty away from even potentially sniffing the injury bug. so it could be him, another RB, or even a defensive player.

i dont expect this to be close, btw. im not saying its going to be a 60-0 blowout, but i expect a 3 TD lead at most points of the game.

Is there any question...Rod Wilkes, because Rod Wilkes doesn't do Push-ups, Rod Wilkes pushes the earth down!!....

But Seriously Hardesty, or could be Oku with a big time game

I hope it's Crompton. He needs a great game to build upon the Kentucky game of last season and to help put last year to bed. He's a major head case. A MVP game by him in the first game of the season will work wonders for him throughout the season.
