Our beloved Vols have the biggest challenge of the year so far coming up. I believe that we must stop the run and limit the big play in order to beat A&M. Gonna be a tough game.

Besides Knight getting rushing yardage their running attack isn't very scary but Knight does have deceptive speed and knows when to choose his spots so that's why I think it's important to get JRM back to counter that. If we are rolling with the linebackers that played this week he will gash us for huge gains and it will be a long day for those guys. Hopefully the DLine comes to play for 4 quarters and we make it difficult on him. I'm not very concerned with his throwing ability because I've seen him miss pretty easy throws and he leaves a chance for at least a pick or 2.

We're playing two backup linebackers...they are playing their hearts out but it's hard to replace and a pair of All SEC linebackers...even worse, when the backups need a break, we're playing third team guys...no disrespect for the guys who have stepped up - Cortez and Colton are definitely VFL and giving their all...but it would be great if they were subbing in for Kirkland and Reeves-Maybin instead of having been thrust into starting roles...

We definitely have a uphill battle. Our depleted defense against A&M's great WR's is a huge advantage for the aggies. Let's hope Bob Shoop can work his magic

Considering we lead the SEC in rushing, I'd have to disagree with you there VolPack22. Trayveon Williams led the nation in YPC last week and has 487 yards on 54 attempts for an avg of 9 yards/carry. However I'd also say that our receivers have definitely been underperforming as a unit so far this year, so maybe you can feel better with that part of the game lol :)
