See that’s what I expected from the snarky type fans. Good trip to Nashville. Great stadium. Cheap hotel rates - cheap tix. Seriously I would like to see the young guys play again outside the SEC. Give Tee a chance to coach one time. See what happens. A mini spring practice would not be bad.
You expected it ...

I would definitely be in favor of playing in a bowl game. I think the direction of the program and tone of the fan base could be completely different alby that point. Maybe we have a new coach in place and can have a gane of fresh starts

Let’s go anyway. There is only 25 percent capacity. I saw Titans vs Colts a few weeks ago on a Thursday night. Great fun even though Titans lost. They gave away blue Christmas tree lights to wear around your neck. Make up some orange lights and keep our bowl streak alive! Nothing to lose. Who is with me? Snarks just watch on tv.

And have a sleepover? We can wear our footed jammies!

Guess I'm a snark. The idea of rewarding a program for this type of season is absurd to me. Pruitt is anxious to go, which means he must have a bowl bonus in his contract. The current team is not fun to watch, and there is zero chance I would drive to Nashville to do so.

Because we just paid him a bunch of money and Phil is an idiot.
I guess you haven’t been reading the forum very often. Heard about Muschamp and Gus being let go with their larger buyouts? Heard about it will not be Phillip Fulmer decision? Heard about the investigations confirmed and raid on computer hard drives today in the Athletic Department. Please do not make declarations if you are not up to date on the state of affairs.

Have you seen the terrible decisions UT admin has made in the last 10 years? Apparently you aren't up to date.

I don’t think it’s a fan being snarky, yet the bowl birth would have been earned. Add the fact of NCAA trouble, uncertainty of coach(es) for next year. I may be wrong but I think the kids are ready for the season to end as most have been staying away form friends (supposedly) and college activities due to COVID and possible contact tracing.

Edit-

I haven't seen fans in this much of a tizzy since Schiano Sunday and the Great Athens Boycott of 2013 when the Chamber had Saban as their keynote speaker.

Come on615, don't sugarcoat it, tell me how you really feel.....
I want no part of a bowl this season. I have no interest in getting humiliated AGAIN and losing 8 games. Fire the Gump. Get a good HC and start over next season. I am done with Tennessee Football in 2020. Just cant take anymore disappointment
Same here Double D.... How you doin man?

Hey who would like to see these Vols play again vs. A Big 10 team?

I certainly would. Get some more experience. Let Tee Martin be interim head coach if necescary.

See Bailey and Shrout and the kids!
Not just no but Hail No. Since when are we into participation trophies? Taking a bowl game at 3 and 8? Talk about pathetic. Just end it, hire a new coach and start over in the spring. This season can’t end quickly enough.

When will we know on the bowl? I think we need to get the revenue from the bowl season. After the frustration of this loss wears off - and we get a nice bid to Nashville - say and play Wisconsin - tickets will sell fine. I did not expect a win today and three wins was quite an achievement without spring practice and the lack of an SEC qb. Getting blown out is easier to take than close losses.

Bowl game, seriously? With a new coach or no coach and the program being under investigation.

Now you’re just trolling.
