Music City Bowl

The MCB doesn't automatically get the loser of the ACCCG, but the loser can fall no further than the MCB (so that the loser doesnt' get shipped off to Boise or San Fran). I would love and hate to see GT and UT play in the MCB. I'd love to see both teams match up again, but would hate to see one lose.

Honestly I think UNC is coming here. It would make for great irony since we backed out of the game with them.

BTW, the MCB has had many sellouts, it's actually become a very attractive bowl since adding the ACC matchup. I think if GT has a year where they beat UGA, they would sell out LP Field. But losing the last game of your season, AND losing to your biggest rival kinda takes the wind out of your sails. UT will sell this place out any/everytime they play here.

I think going to the Music City Bowl would be a lot more "fun" if you will. Nashville is the most enjoyable city to visit in the state, people will travel there and the stadium is nicer. I wouldn't go to Memphis to see the Liberty Bowl if you paid me.

I'm just itching to go ahead and order tickets...but I want to be 100% sure UT goes to the MCB before I do.

I was trying to order lower deck from ticket master and it said lower deck is already sold out

maybe I was doing something wrong

If you want lower level, I believe stubHub or EBay is your best bet.

I thought about buying lower deck when they were available on ticket master the other day for 150 for the pair. I am seeing them for close to 350 to 400 on ebay...

$150 for lower level would have been a good deal. I think $250 was the cheapest I saw on StubHub.

150 also included the parking pass...I don't think I will be going. I bought upper level tickets today but that is for a dirty santa gift

If you go to the Music City Bowl site, you can order tickets to the Coaches Luncheon on Dec. 29 at the Wildhorse Saloon for $40. If you get a $5 patch, you get a $5 discount to luncheon plus use the patch for all sorts of local merchant discounts. The Wildhorse Saloon does a great job and this event sells out every year. Would be great for big Orange to have huge crowd for Dooley.

Check out the tickets forum. A man has alot of lower bowl and club level tickets. They also throw an awesome tailgate party right across from the stadium. Famous dave's caters with steak chicken and ribs. Full bar with premium liquors. It starts 3 hours before the game. He does this for all Titans home games and had one before the UT Wyoming game several years ago and had about 500 UT fans. Have been to several Titans and is worth the money.

Stop by Tootsie's and say hey to owner Steve Smith as well. He has three of them now. One located in Panama City not sure about the other location. Owns a few biuldings in that area. Funny story, 20 years ago he owned Rascals, just a little bar in Nashville area. The company my family owned at the time would give him credit until he could pay us back. Always paid us back though. Nice guy, nice rich guy now.

I'd be curious as to where people all ready got their tickets and know where they're sitting as we got ours ordered through Tennessee and won't know seating until they're delivered the 17th.. :loco::loco::loco::loco:

I don't know, but if by chance we don't end up in the MCB there's going to be a lot of UT fans holding tickets that they won't be able to unload for what they paid for them. I was looking on ticketmaster yesterday and when you choose "best available" it already sends you almost to the top of the stadium, so all the lower level and decent uppers must already have been bought up by UT fans in hopes that we're going to be in Nashville.

We preordered for MCB and BBVA Compass bowl in Birmingham Jan 8th... whichever one we go to will be the one we'll be charged for.. the other one is the Liberty Bowl.. :loco::loco:

Once the opponent is announced, they may have extra tickets available for sale. I would register to purchase tickets with that athletic department so when a general announcement is made that there are tickets for sale to their fans, you can go ahead and purchase. It won't matter where you sit in lower or club level, the majority will be Orange just like at Memphis and Vandy.

I don't know about others, but I've been getting the cheap tickets to the MCB for years. I wait till the teams are announced to decide if I will go or not. I've never had a problem getting my money back if I don't go, even the year Vandy played BC.
