If you purchase a Music City Bowl club seat that is a Power Package, it includes a ticket to the Predators/Red Wings hockey game which takes place the day before. That is why it costs more than regular club seat. Too bad there is not a package for Titans game on Dec 30. If they beat Jaguars this Sat, they will be playing to win Division in game against Texans.

Titans / Texans is Jan 1st

I seriously don't understand why folks thought this game would not draw well. Both teams travel well and the game is in Tennessee, which means UT fans that could normally not make the trek to another state due to money, work, etc. will have the opportunity to see the team play one last time in 2016.

This is actually good for the state - keeps money at home.

I dont think it helps as much as you think. UT fans are less likely to get hotels which brings in alot of revenue. Two teams were coming to the bowl regardless so it really doesnt effect much.

A large number come to Nashville to celebrate New Year's Eve so hotels are not complaining. Nashville has turned into a destination spot.

I am impressed with our fanbase. After the year we had, having our hopes dashed time and again, drama, injuries, excuses, and we still come out for a meaningless bowl.

Say what you want, but Volnation is a loyal bunch.

I wouldnt go giving credit until game day. My guess is scaplers bought a very large number of tickets and all this hype of "hot tickets" is circulating so to run prices up. If the demand was as high as everyone says, they wouldnt be available everywhere, and they are. I hope we have a good showing and maybe we will cause its close to home.

I wouldn't count on all those tickets being bought by actual fans. I'd bet the majority were bought by opportunistic scalpers who thought they could get Tennessee fans to pay outrageous prices just because the game was in Nashville. The ticket sites on line are absolutely loaded with overpriced tickets. If fans were actually going to go then there would be almost no tickets available.

Those scalpers will end up selling tickets in the street for 10 dollars if they sell them at all. Joke will be on them.

how can you tell if these street tickets are real? scalpers are always selling fakes.

The closer to the stadium you are the more likely they are not fake. Also, if they are too cheap, or the seller drops the price alot once you say no the first time, they are probably fake.

Since these tickets can be electronically transferred, you can't always tell if you are buying a valid ticket. Best to educate yourself first if you choose this route.

Done properly you won't be able to tell until you get turned away at the gate. Last time we were at the MCB with ole Doodles I had two extra real tickets and sold them and ended up with a fake $100 bill. The same with a ticket if done properly it's hard to tell. Jack didn't help but he is still my friend. The paper was right, they reprinted a $100 on the paper from a five. Those scalpers can get you coming and going.

Plan A is I'll be there, Plan B, my brother won't sell my tickets for fake money.

Beat the corn biscuits!

Take their lunch money Vols!

Everyone has their opinion, but, to me, it is far from a meaningless bowl if our beloved Vols a playing.

The toughest bowl tickets to find on the streets (for me) was the Peach Bowl vs. Clemson in '03. There were hardly any tickets out there. I wound up buying fakes....maybe that was a good thing after the outcome.

That Clemson fanbase travels as well as we do...

It's against the law to scalp tickets within 2700 feet of the GA Dome. Sorry u got scammed
