The bowl sponsor can only spend a certain amount per player. I believe the amount is $500 per swag bag. The schools can always choose to add a few more hundred in gifts if they so choose.

Not sure of the size, but yes they do. Rivals put out a list of the swag for every bowl last year. They'll probably do it again soon.

Capital One bowl gives $450 gift card to best buy. A couple bowls give xbox 360's. The MCB is really not a very good prize package but nice to get anything nontheless.
