Music City Bowl is sold out. I'm assuming UNC sold out their measly 10K allotment, which was suppose to go on sale to the public tomorrow. Can't wait to see all the orange in the stadium.

60 to 40 is a good percentage, it may be more like 65 to 35, or 70/30, but UNC will definitely bring fans. They represented very well against LSU in ATL this year (50/50), but this is not as close for them and we are wayyyyyyyyyyyy closer than LSU was to Atlanta.

Well you can blame Mike Hamilton and the Music City Bowl for tweeting that it was sold out. I would usually think those are legit sources. Additionally, you can currently only buy 1 ticket at a time on Ticketmaster, which I just tried to do twice, so that's about as close to selling out as it gets. It should be sold out in a matter of hours.

Last year the Peach Bowl was 70% Orange, considering this game is in Nashville at least 75% Orange would be my guess for the turnout.

There are still plenty of tickets out there on different sites. Most start at around $34 or $35. Well, at least the ones I've seen. I'm sure they won't last too much longer, though.

I just bought 5 tickets in one of the upper deck corners...UNC side I believe. Definitely not the best seats in the house, but the price was right ($32).

Lemme try to explain this: "Music city bowl sold out" means that the MCB (which 'owns' all the tickets) has sold all the tickets to various ppl. There are, and will be tickets available on the internet up to gameday. The ppl who have the tickets are the ones posting them on craigslist, stubhub, tmaster, ect. Now, I have no way of knowing how many UNC sold yesterday and today, (of their allotment), but those tickets wouldn't keep them from announcing a sell-out. Hope this helps. PS. What this does mean tho, is should UNC have any to offer @ 10 tom, they ARE the ONLY tickets left @ face value.

The only way this would be any more Orange is if the bowl was held at Neyland stadium.

My guess is between 20-30 percent will NOT be fans of either school. that is typical at bowl games

Very true Larry, but many of the regular MCB attendees are VOL fans, so some of the 20-30 % could be Orange this year. I live in the Nashville area and know many people who buy MCB tickets as soon as they become available before it's even speculated as to who might be the teams, and a lot of these people are Vol fans.

I think 70-20-10 breakdown of UT-UNC-neutral is distinctly possible here, for this reason.
