Muschamp's Behavior (merged)

I totally forgot "we" wanted him. So glad Hamilton could never convince him to come here. Would hate to have that amateur here. Love we got a guy who looks like he's been there before.

That's the first video I'm showing to Moms and Dads when they're kids are leaning to Florida.

Yes, if worse comes to worst we have a video to show parents of why their kid should come to UT over uf. also I love the name. Daft Punk is my #1 group.

You can't hold onto the other teams jersey before the ball is thrown it is PI.

A bad call for PI was the early one vs the Vols. From what I could it looks like the Vols made contact when the ball touched the Gators player.

We used to say the same thing when people ripped Kiffin. Then we found out they were right.

Everybody understands intensity. Muschamp though needs to figure out there's a fine line between intense and going berserk. I don't care about sideline antics, but the whole act where he had an assistant physically holding him back as if he was going to hit the ref was embarrassing.

This. People making fun of Muschamp's looks are weak, but he seriously deserves a dress down for that conduct at the half. For the gator fans, you consistently drilled us for our homerism involving Kiffin's antics, and kudos to you, you were right. Now stop your own homerism and rewatch that halftime rant. He went overboard with it. Agree or disagree with the calls, there is a proper way to express your sentiments. That wasn't it. I don't mind a coach jawing with the refs, but when you actually chase after them and have to be restrained, you have crossed a line.

I'm not saying that because we lost. You won the game. Grats. No excuses from me. Injuries are part of the game. Officiating is what it is for both sides of the ball. Now it's back to "we'll get 'em next year" for us .Thems the breaks. But Muschamp needs to get that anger under control, or he might just turn into your version of Kiffin. And I honestly don't wish that on any team.

1). Muschamp went berserk because 2, maybe 3 of the interference calls were truly awful and came at incredibly important times.

2). If your coach was as animated you would bless him for his enthusiasm and applaud him for sticking up for your guys.

This thread absolutely dripping with sour grapes and homerism.

I love enthusiasm and a coach willing to stick up for his team while getting in a refs face. But let's be honest here: Muschamp is a douchebag.

Dooley was certainly animated in this game to an acceptable level. I don't have a clue what was going on in Muschamp's head though... He's lucky he didn't get decked by a ref

Rival fans inevitably, and universally, regard intensity as "being a jackass."

No, the Trooper Taylor act with that dumbass contrived glare make him a jackass. The bad gameplan makes him inept. Goof away from Rainey / Demps through the middle of the game was retarded. He should have told Weis to grab a couple dozen doughnuts and get the hell off the headset.

All Pi's were legit except the one were our receiver was FORCED out of bounds and came back in and they called us for illegal touching. Heck should have been more calls against them, i mean i saw at least two replays were FLA pulled the jerseys out of our guys pants by holding and nothing was called..By the way, why are you on a VOLS site anyway?

florida should have had more penalties called--they were holding UT's defensive line the whole game and only got called once or twice.

You're wrong on item 1 LG. You cannot hold jerseys period. If you didn't watch the replays of those plays, go back on your dvr please today. Normally you bring good comments but #1 is just plain homerism on your end.

UF has been the beneficiary of more bad calls than UT. Dooley's clearly mad, but Muschamp's acting like a psycho. What's he gonna do when UF is losing-- deck somebody?

I was really surprised at Muschamp's demeanor. I thought he was better than that; guess I was wrong about that. Seems like he has bought in to the thuggery, instead of changing the FL team the FL team has changed him; a shame. Looks like he is the new Kiffin.

Those pi's were legit. The Florida db's are terrible. As a ref you have to call that. Looks almost as if they are taught when beat to grab. The let them play comment is foolish.

I thought one PI call on the gator DB was bogus, maybe to even a bad call on us. But I agree that the gator DBs interfered so intentionally so many times, that they appeared to be coached to play dirty. Maybe that makes sense if it's to stop a TD, but those guys were stinking up the joint.

He rose to the top of the charts yesterday as the new prick of the SEC coaches......behavior that will make some recruits look twice at that program ......passion is great and needed, but this cat looks like a nut case out there.

I liked the look on Da'Rick Rodgers face after Muschamp jumped on the field screaming on one of the passing interference penalty. He was like "c'mon man".

Yep, class act. So glad he turned us down.
He's one of those coaches that will only go coach in talent rich states so that he looks like a god. It's coaches like DD that are gonna make the future here a little sweeter. IMO

Make no mistake about it...that kind of passion and intensity will ATTRACT recruits, not repel them. If he was your coach, you would agree. I'll take a maniac on the sidelines over a statue any day, especially if he beats his rivals.

CWM will still be able to recruit at the top no matter his outbursts. So far it hasn't affected their current recruiting class.
