Yes, coaches should try showing more class but this rivalry has history. We have loved to have hate for each other since Ned was a pup. If our fan base has FU's to throw, they should be directed toward those that came up with our offensive game plan. The D was spot on, checkerboard neyland will make a great desktop but 10 years in a row is not tasting good this morning !

If that was true coaches wouldn't leave smaller schools to go to bigger schools where they can get better players.

CBJ teams are getting better.
Muschamps teams are getting worse

Well the record says otherwise. Last I checked Muschamp is 2-0 against Jones, and in both games you can point to major coaching blunders that led to the loss. Last year starting Peterman was a huge mistake. This year you can point to the playcalling, the lack of execution on offense (which has to go back to coaching), calling the read option without even once allowing (or directing) Worley to keep it when if he would have he would have easily had a 10 to 15 yard game and it may have at least kept Florida honest when we ran the stinking play giving our RB's a fighting chance. I could go on and on. Oh, and Muschamp's recruiting classes have been better than ours too haven't they?

Can't believe that when Muschamp was being interviewed he said: "It's good to see so many people going home unhappy." That will come back to haunt him in several ways I'm sure. Vols will pull together and still have a .500 season and make a Bowl. Watch......

IMO, Muschamp will be fired this year. UF has high standards, and he's failed to meet them. UF is unhappy with the team's performance yesterday, and they won. We're excusing our even worse performance and saying we expected a loss. UF considers 7-8 wins unacceptable, and we'd consider it a gift. If UF goes 6-6 and makes a bowl game, they'd call for their coaches to be fired. We'd give ours a raise and an extension. If we go 5-7, we'll be worried someone is going to poach our coaches.

And that's the difference between the two programs: one resists lowering standards and the other has learned to embrace mediocrity.

muschamp went 4-8 last year with a loss to lowly ga southern, kept his job, got a vote of confidence from the AD and got a raise. their standards are way down from the days of spurrier and meyer.

Since we lost to the POS, I am kinda hoping that Muschamp does enough to stay on board this year and it give us better oppurtunities to beat them in years to come. If he goes, the chances are good they will do better with a new hire.

And it was very distinct for all the world to hear! If we just score at least one more fg then we win so it doesn't matter. Spurrier and Miles say way worse things. I just wish we can find a way to win. That game was the best chance. If we hold any sec team to 10 points we should win. Uk Scored 20 against them in regulation. Our offense can't move against decent defenses. UGA is not decent.
