I'm not saying I agree with what Muchamp said but it was in response to the fans showing their backsides.
My sister posted an article on Facebook about Muschamp being classless. I responded that Vol fans were just as classless.
One of her friends said that the chant started when #70 made a vulgar gesture to girls in the band. She said her husband almost jumped out of the stands.
I wasn't there so I don't know. I do think that it shows total classlessness. Let the opponent be classless.
Just before the chanting started, some of Florida's players were taunting UT fans up in the stands. An official had to run up to one player and stop him from gesturing. ...
I want Muschamp gone for various reasons, but it's not like Muschamp said anything near as vulgar as what was being chanted.
I'm sure if UF fans chanted something similar in Gainesville as UT was killing the clock, and UT's coach made light of it, the focus would be on how classless our students were.
When Kiffin said he couldn't wait till we beat Florida and could sing rocky top all night long, we ate it up... We said we needed that attitude.
But, when another coach does it, we get upset.
Had we beaten Florida at Florida, and their fans were chanting F U UT, and CBJ was asked about it and said, it feels good to send them home disappointed, we'd love it.
You guys sound like a bunch of whiners
It is expected of coaches that they rise above the level of fans.Coaches nearly always show a certain amount of class and good sportsmanship no matter what 20 year old students may do or say. And almost always, that's how coaches behave. Our coach would never behave in such a classless immature manner as Muschamp. He is known around the league as a hothead, childish, classless piece of crap. He'll get his before it's over--guaranteed.
Over 9000 posts on a Volunteer fan site--seriously? LOL.
He might well be a ahole but he is 3-0 against UT. I to thought Muschamp might get fired at the end of the year but Florida's only loss is to Alabama and as of right now the way the SEC east is playing Florida just might win it. Then what happens to Muschamp?
