I'm sitting here reading this thread, already pumped and nervous about this game, and Eye of the Tiger is playing in the background on Rocky III. So fitting. Man I am so ready for this game...

I have a hard time believing we are 9.5 point underdogs. They were not very good last year against the rest of the SEC and now they are supposed to be better with a new coaching staff three games into the season?

We should have success against them based on what I have seen out of them and us, so far this season. My heart sometimes causes me to overload my azz, but my brain tells me we are going to present problems for every team we face this year.

Vols win 38 - 24

GO VOLS!!

UT's best strength (passing game) matches up well aginst florida's greatest weakness- their secondary.

Florida's pass rush has been lacking so far as well

Florida's defense seems about like Cincinnati's. Weak secondary, but with a more pass rush type. This will open up even more underneath routes for Rivera and Poole. Offense similar, run, run, pass, punt.

Lets hope so, because Cincinnati's "pass rush type" defense didn't touch Bray all day.

I hope our oline can handle the front four of florida.and open up them holes so poole can truck somebodys azz.

He never trucks anyone. He dances around to much and only gets like 2-3 yds. He needs to freaking hit the holes and run full speed and quit trying to make something big happen when it isn't there

People here are seriously underestimating what Charlie Weiss can do with an offense.

Yeah...but his only real success was when Belichick was calling the shots. I still think Muschamp & Weiss won't be working well together when all's said & done. Let's hope for a croc family feud this Saturday.
GO VOLS!

Muschamp announced team awards for: Rainey (offensive player of the week), Lerentee McCray (defensive player of the game), Darren Kitchen (special teams player of the game), Dan Wenger (Scrap Iron award, his second straight), Andre Debose (Big Play award), Mike Gillislee (Extra Effort award) and Matt Elam, Jabari Gorman and Marcus Roberson (Ball Hawk awards). The Scout team players of the week were: Tim Clark (offense), Jason Traylor (defense) and Loucheiz Purifoy (special teams).

This is from that article. Do they give out enough rewards? Where's the reward for the backup QB who did the best job holding a clipboard?

You know Tyler Bray reminds me more of Casey Clausen than anybody at this point anyway. I hope florida feels the same way about 1830 CST Saturday.

He definitely shares his moxie. They both have that in common but Casey seemed to be a little more intense and Bray is a little more laid back.

Have you guys that are so certain we are going to win watched our Defense? I think there will be quite a few points put up by both and hope like crazy we come out on top but don't get crazy boys. I think we can win but lets not get crazy

You might wanna review the Cincy tape again. He didn't 'dance' too much and he had a couple runs for more than 3 I believe...

I saw that too. A little ridiculous if you ask me. Sounds kinda like little league, everybody gets a trophy.
