Muschamp says UT quarterback Tyler Bray is a concern for Gators

Not too many teams have to prepare for an offense that features 2 receivers who are capable of going for a hundy apiece, in the same game. Thats scary for any coach.

you know uab returned 16 of 22 starters of a team that took you guys to double OT and only lost by like a TD or FG to miss st. hell all the games they lost last yr were by TD or less they were suposed have a pretty good offense

I'll start taking you seriously when you learn how to put together a coherent sentence.

This. All this while having 5'9" corners. Put em in the air, let Hunter and Rogers go up and get em. Weve already seen Hunter get up thee and make amazing catches on more than one ocassion.

Let the pass rush begin. It wears your players out relatively quickly. I would think some dump passes mixed with some to Hunter & Da'Rick would slow that rush down and keep the secondary on their heels knowing that our receivers could be gone on any play. That said, might open up some draw plays as well. I think the Gators will be stunned in the first half unless they get some turnovers. If our D steps up it will be a long day for the Gators. Might be hard to stop demps/burton but I believe our D can do it. The SEC will definitely take notice of TN after beating the Gators Saturday. VOLS by 14, or more.
Let's hope it's more.

We're all talking smack here 'cause that's what message boards do. Muschamp was probably replying to a question asked him and gave a vanilla reply so as not to give us bulletin board material. Our coaches probably recruited that 5' 9" DB you are talking about.

I'd understand UF being confident with their midget corners if and only if our guys weren't more athletic than their corners on top of being half a foot taller. But hunter and Rogers are more athletic so deep ball for the cover two and run the ball. It's unstoppable.

Clearly the Gators have resources to throw at the problem of our passing game if they want to sell out and try to stop it. So, I guess we better be ready to take the running yards they give us? Or do we just play to our strengths and let the chips fall where they may?

First of all.. im sure they wont be giving us sh*t.. probably not even a handshake after the game.. second of all.. The last 9 meetings who ever had the most Rushing yards. . . WINS THE GAME... gotta know your history

He is even a bigger problem in person, Muschamp. Maybe you need to blitz every play and let your CBs single cover Hunter/Rogers? Give it a try...please!

You can't take two receivers out of the game, unless they want to play 7 on 9. I like those odds. It's all up to the Tennessee O-line. Protect Bray and Tennessee will score points saturday.

By a TD or less? How much do you think a TD is worth boy?

Would you expect him to say "We are going to kick their ass" (or something like that)? These coaches always play down the other team and what they say means absolutely zero.

Your exactly right and this will prob be a better uab team this year. I will say the blazers were off a bit with it being their first game and Florida's second. UAB missed several wide open WRs and had a td called back that would have made it closer at halftime. Florida's D scares me much more than their O. I'm curious to see how we do against a new first year OC that's changed their system. Glad to be playing a more traditional offense.

I wish that UT's superior passing game could be that easily discounted, but I am afraid that it's going to be very important.

However, if it all depends on rushing, we gators should be in good shape: UF's 17th ranked rushing offense of 248.5 yds/game against UT's 67th ranked rushing defense allowing 138.5 yds/game, and UT's 81st ranked rushing offense of 127 yds/game versus UF's 10th ranked rushing defense allowing just 50.5 yds/game.

I'm afraid it's not that simple.

Right now the defensive rankings are apples and oranges when comparing oppenents.

I know you were responding to another post, but if UT holds the gators to 138 yards rushing and the gators hold UT to even 50 yards...I still like our odds of winning. Gators are dependent on those rushing yards just like UT was at the beginning of 2010. If the game becomes an aerial combat, I really think UT has more weapons.

Run up the middle, Run off tackle, pass on 3rd and long.

Alternately: 1st run it up the middle, 2nd go for short yardage pass, 3rd and short run it up the middle, 3rd and long go for safest pass possible.

You know what really funny about all these post is I don't think there any talk about everybody else Bray has to throw to. Rivera caught 6 and Rogers had 4 not to say about some others. Sooner or later this will cause problems for anybody.
