They probably both go to Bama and only make $20k and collect their buyouts
Muschamp can make $1.5 million a year or more as a coordinator and still collect his full buyout. His contract did not contain any offset language so he gets the full buyout regardless of the salary at his next job. Pretty sure the same would be true for Pruitt if he were to be fired.

I noticed that espn 's bottom line showed that SC "Fired" Muschamp; and showed that Vanderbilt "Parted Ways" with Mason. Softer Landing?

We need to part ways with JP first
Yeah, hiring a big name defensive person would just be a waste of money at this point. Besides, neither of those guys are going anywhere that wouldn't allow them to run the show on defense. Our wagon is firmly hitched to Pruitt and Chaney running things. They set the stage on defense and offense, respectively, and it'll remain they way until they either win big or get fired.

wish Vandy had scored a token TD...would have liked to have seen her try a PAT.
Did you see her warming up? That ball was going right into the back of her offensive line. She was practicing FGs from inside the 2-yard line (shorter than an XP) during warmups that were clearing the crossbar by inches.

By that reasoning they would be liabilities in recruiting as well since they had a major hand in recruiting said limited talent.
Vandy is without a doubt a liability in recruiting, SC isn’t much better.
Saban could hire either one and they would be praised for their D coaching skills and landing 5 star recruits.

Exactly...kicking a football is entirely different than kicking a round soccer ball.

Saw the Pat Mcafee show last week and he explained it very well...the mechanics required such as foot placement, knee bend, etc. are different from a soccer style kick to a football kicker. Hell, he even brought up the great point that is why FB teams have a punter and a place kicker because even the mechanics there are different.

For one, I'm glad she didn't get a shot at a PAT or FG, because it likely would have ruined a very historic moment.

How do folks dream up such hair-brained ideas on here? And then feel like it is necessary to create a new thread?
