I have a friend that goes to Clemson and he has said the whole vibe around campus is Muschamp will take over next season.
We were talking tonight and he said the only snag is some are saying Muschamp has caught wind of some push for him by volunteer fans and wants to see if the University is really interested in him..

not a strong source.. just a conversation between college students...
but haslam and hamilton were drinking whiskey at the table beside us...

but seriously.. the top part is true..

I'm pretty sure he's concerned with keeping that #1 ranking with the games coming up.

I'd like UT to take a stab at him as well... Muschamp or Kiffen. I really am partial to Kiffen though.

I bet the smokey, backroom talks are at a all time high this year with Auburn, Tennessee, and Clemson all either getting rid of a coach or about to get rid of one.

I'm almost convinced that Fulmer and Tubberville are gone.

If UT makes a change then the UT job is by far the better of the 3.

well i dunno... Bama will be the nail in both their coffins... If tubby loses to bama.. he's gone.. if fulmer loses to bama.. hes gone.. thig is.. Hamilton wont fire Fulmer mid season.. and Bama is Tubby's last game..
they might go on the same day..

Isn't Tubby's whole staff his boys? If he's fired mid season they have no coaches left. His boys aren't going to leave him hanging.

If Phil were to get the boot in the middle of the season, which I really, really, really, don't see happening, Chavis would be right on his back riding out with him.
