You can be removed from others property for a variety of reasons (smoking, wearing an offensive t-shirt, not wearing a mask, etc).

I do see whats wrong with this.

1) the lady is in the wrong at so many levels I can't count, and

2) the selectively cut or edited video was posted to give the impression the lady was arrested and manhandled merely for not wearing a mask. Not true.

They required on their property to wear a mask. It’s their property to decide such. She refused and was asked to leave. She refused. At our hospital our security has arrested or removed multiple people fo refusing to comply with our rules. No one has a right to be on private property and do what they want

The masks aren’t the point. No one cares about that. The issue is she has NO right to be on private property and when asked to leave she has to comply by law.

I am not sure of the particulars of the undelrying ordinance, but if you have been following, you know, PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH COMMON SENSE you know you can't sit in the stands of a kid football game and refuse repeated requests to wear a mask.

Look, its common courtesy at this point. For the love of God, its not just protecting yourself, its protecting others from you when you might unintentionally place others at risk.

Wearing a mask is no big deal relative to that, in that context.

The lady violated school policy by not wearing a mask. She was notified of this and was asked to put a mask on. When she refused, she was asked to leave the premises. She refused that too and was lawfully arrested for trespassing. I think that it's a stupid policy to have to wear a mask in this scenario, but that is irrelevant because that isn't what she was arrested for. Nothing wrong with this arrest.

The only morons in this instance are the people mandating masks outdoors and the cop for acting like the young lady was a hardened criminal.

You can be asked to leave property for any variety of reasons and you have to comply period. Same with smokers or people with loud radios or offensive t shirts or anything
