Multiple players in the ER (Details sketchy)

Nothing to worry about guys. A player tried to pull a U turn on Cumberland. Nothing big. You can go to bed now guys.

That's reassuring, but I bet there will be a few on VN that will need a few more details than that before calling it a night. Plus, the Braves are still on....top of the 16th.

Since I'm lucky enough to have a dr in front of my name come may, I will drop some hipaa knowledge on everyone. Hipaa was est in 96 and is basically a privacy act stating healthcare professionals will not release personal information whether it is health conditions, meds, or just simple things like a hospital ID number. It gets taken way serious at every hospital I've worked at and is grounds for termination so that's prolly why the OP is so sketchy on releasing dets. Hope this helps clear up the question

seriously?

It's a federal law that says if health care providers release medical information without a patient's consent the health care providers get drawn and quartered. Zasnow has nothing to worry about unless he's a health care provider.

Not true. I used to work at UT Med Center in the IT department so not a healthcare worker and it applied to me as well. It applies to anyone who is OR WORKS FOR a healthcare provider and can in any way access health care information of another person.
