As he said, the fans are still there in droves. The school itself and the fanbase make it one of the top coaching jobs in the country.

Honestly think Florida was stupid for running him off. Sure, last season went off the rails a bit, but dumb florida fans were calling for him before everything fell apart...a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts. He is a proven as a solid coach and they got rid of him for some dude from Louisianna Tech...

A lot of coaches lose the drive once the big money is guaranteed. I think that got him. He was never a hard driving recruiter also. Even at Florida, you gotta love recruiting now. SOS didn’t but that was 20-30 yrs ago too. He was also the best offensive coach in SEC history
