To determine obstruction, that’s the responsibility of the investigators at the justice department
You’re making way too much sense![]()
You keep the faith, buddy.![]()
From my understanding obstruction of justice can actually be brought by a range of government officials at variety of levels in government. However DOJ yes is the main place for federal crimes, but congress also has that power should it have its own investigation. Just like a state or local government could as well.
And in this current crazy epsiode in American history, DOJ at the time was the only one looking at that and according to Mueller he couldn’t make a decision because of DOJ regulations.

It would be a waste to try impeaching with a Republican Senate. Also, the voters just don't care about this anymore.
I don’t feel sorry for commies. I’m not sorry either.I truly feel sorry for Mickey, luther, TNRibs, LG, EL, Velo and Carlos. I know their hopes and dreams were hinging on this "investigation." Sorry fellas. But you lost yet again. Many on here kept telling you but you ignored it. But you guys can take solqce in the fragile society we live in now, you can take off work to ease the blow. You can just say you were triggered by Trumps second win and you need time in your safe space to recover.
When President Trump wins reelection in November 2020 the Democrats will try to hound him all the way until he leaves the White House in January 2025. If the Democrats control the House of Representatives after January 2025 it wouldn't surprise me if they try to subpoena President Trump to testify in front of committees.
I think the voters will care if the Dims don't let it go gracefully; and despite all they claim to be, that is definitely not a part of the liberal character. Liberals are literally the only animals on earth that would burn their own homes if they thought it would spite anyone not with them.
I just follow the logic train. Trump will win if they try to roll with this in campaign season. The only people who actually still care are people who are partisans on the left and right. Best thing the Democrats can do is find an economic message. No president in recent history, ( from Taft on to modern times ) has ever lost an election when the economy is good.
Spent 4:30 - 9:30 at a track meet. Didn't hear nor speak one word about the Trump catastrophe. You know it's been a beautiful day outside here in East Tennessee. I'm a little sad because some of my fellow Vols are so wrapped up in politics that they failed to enjoy it.
Life and politics go on with or without us. Live your lives people, don't let this BS ruin it for you. You will never get this day back.
Adios por ahora, muchachos.

They have no economic message other than raise taxes and open borders. You’re spot on in your conclusions.
I just look at history basically. 60% of the voters vote based on their pocketbooks. I watched the Bernie Sanders Town Hall. The guy has no frigging clue about economics. That will be exposed badly by Trump. I think if someone besides Creepy Joe didn't try to cater to the Far Left and acted moderate, they would win the nomination easily. All catering to the Bernie side will do is.... Make Bernie the nominee.
A part me agrees with this, but that is what they said about Watergate and how did that turn out.
A bigger question to answer for me, is if there is evendince of impeachable items, should it matter what the politics are or are not?
We have three separate and equal branches of government, should one branch just not do it’s constituional duty because of politics. If that’s the case then that’s a sad, sad day.
House republicans didn’t care they didn’t have the votes in the senate with Clinton and they did it anyways. To me they did their jobs. Don’t see why House Democrats shouldn’t do theirs now.
Actually this all happened on a busy day, which may have been a blessing in disguise. I've seen, read, and heard very little news.Too tired from crying all day?
