Mueller Report Imminent

So many people butthurt the President isnt a traitorous foreign agent..really speaks volumes as to who hates America...
What speaks volumes is that so many people who love their country saw that as not only a viable, but even a preferred outcome.

So let me get this straight. An ivestigation was made by what was hearlded as un unbiased professional. He as far as we know, followed the law to the letter and did his due dilligence. From what we know, Meuller left no stone unturned and did the best job he could. So his findings found no evidence of any serious crimes.

Please explain why everyone shouldnt be happy that despite what some may have felt, Trump actually isnt in bed with Russia and didnt break any major laws. Isnt this a great oitcome? I realize you loathe him litehr but I seriously cannot understand how you cannot at least feel that this outcome was a huge positive for this cpuntry.

He's not happy because this give Trump a massive Bully Pulpit, and he will win reelection barring economic meltdown.

To be clear, yes.
I've said from the beginning that the worst possible scenario for America is that of Trump winning the election fairly and with the vote of an informed populace.
He seems to have won fairly. The second part......not so much. There was plenty of misinformation and propaganda consumed, digested, and regurgitated.
But a vote for Trump based on propaganda is better than a vote for Trump not based on propaganda.
mind boggling. the worst thing that could have happened to this nation is the system working. and he wonders why we ask him if he hates America.

It's a big D.

...just like I give your mom.
Here's a picture.

If you read the memo there are multiple other reasons given why DOJ didn't consider obstruction to occur (lawyers in DOJ were also involved).

Also of note in the memo; the question of making charges was not hindered by consideration of whether or not a sitting POTUS can be indicted. This takes away one of the "get Trump" arguments that he's really guilty but you can't charge him. The decision of "guilty" leading to charges was not constrained by this DOJ policy.
I haven't read the full report (studying for some tests so more reading is not really appealing use of my free time) just going off what I saw here.

I did see the part about the Presidential protection (or lack thereof in this case). Glad they added that, it hopefully provides some clarity.

what I am wondering now is how this will impact other investigations, that are already on going. can the report, and letter from Barr, be used as a defense, or possible attack, in other cases?

I don't see how it impacts other investigations. They are discrete events.

fair enough. I guess it would also depend on what exactly is being investigated.

I guess my question was, can the finding of the AG shut down other cases that are related? Not necessarily tied to Trump. just in general. or at least be offered as an expert witness/evidence type of deal to weigh in on the other trials.

Yet you want to go back to the same old politician, that lies AND does nothing to help America.

Weird

Trump might lie, but at least his policies are making things better. Id say the tradeoff is awesome.
The thing about Trump is that outside of his diehard supporters, I think people pretty much agree he's a liar. The big difference is that the left considers much of what he's doing to be beyond the pale, unlike anything we've ever seen before, while much of the right does not. A lot of his most obvious lies have been about stupid things that are of zero importance, like the size of his inauguration crowd. Not all, but much of the criticism of Trump is more or less correct but just hysterical and so over the top. All politicians and presidents lie and have lied about really important things. It isn't beyond the pale.

I heard someone say once that even if you are correct, you will lose the argument if you 1) misrepresent the argument you are arguing against (straw man) or 2) overstate your own argument. The left does a lot of both with Trump.
