The whole thing is ludicrous. But I have enjoyed watching the disdain for all of this.... a month after urging caution and consideration of the Avenatti/Sweatnik claims against Kavanaugh.

I don’t see it as all that inconsistent, at present.

There’s nobody attacking a specific woman like there was with Ford (although if a woman had come forward and been named I have no doubt there would have been a rush to discredit her from the left). Side note: I do not mean to include those who were merely being skeptical of Ford or just not believing her once the story was told.

The people being assailed in this situation appear to have been accused of trying to pay people to make false allegations of rape. It seems pretty well founded because 1. They’ve got a phony website and 2. They’re not important enough to fabricate claims about (which was sort of the early defense of Kavanaugh). Criticizing them is totally consistent because it undermines real claims and gives liberal shills a toe hold for discrediting women who come forward in the future, if they’re accusing powerful liberals.

I also think they deserve to be mocked mercilessly. Criminal charges seems like a huge overreach, but ssuming this story doesn’t change course, these two clowns should never again be looked at as credible in any way by anyone. The availability of bad faith political media is a legitimate problem that needs to be corrected and it starts with pruning people who get caught out of the National narrative.

I will say this for those two idiots, showing up to that "press conference" without at least one accuser present took some balls. They have to know how desperate for publicity that makes them look.

This Jacob Wohl is 20. He's now got securities fraud and (potentially) obstruction of justice on his resume. Hope that trust fund Daddy set up for him is pretty fat, cause he's going to have a hard time getting any real job after this debacle.

I honestly don't recall much support for her or her claims even being covered to any significance. The majority of the press coverage and publicity was for Christine Blasey Ford and her testimony before the Senate.

Now, having said that ... and in no way to defend Avenatti, but at least he had an accuser who was willing to come forward and put her name behind some allegations. These two idiots don't even have that.
