Much respect for CJP for finishing what he started.

Our program is not idle other than NCAA mandated idleness. Prioritization and delegation go hand in hand. In fact, proper use of delegation makes prioritization far simpler. In Pruitt's case he can delegate both to his staff and upwards to Fulmer. Vacations, illnesses, and other absences happen all the time; and organizations properly trained to delegate, continue on and handle missing people without a snag.

All true.

So should he show up in a few weeks to this finely oiled machine? The one with a AD that has never been a AD and a HC that has never been a HC. You know, since we are discussing well run organizations.

You assume alot. Common mistake by you.

Do not struggle with basic questions. More that dumb people asking dumb questions is the problem.

Does Pruitt staying on Saban’s staff have any long term effect on UT’s status?

You don’t have to like it cause I’m not comfortable with our next HC repping Bama gear either but it is what it is.

What Pruitt does at Bama right now compared to what he’s going to do at UT in the future, is totally two different scenarios that doesn’t need to be discussed.

Once the National Championship game is over, is all this bickering & whining going to matter in the end?

Absolutely not.

Pruitt actually has a bigger job which involves hiring a s&c coach. He has yet to do that. Who is currently managing the off season conditioning program?

Is it you assumption that someone who has played sports for years actually knows nothing about what he/she needs to do to stay in condition? Are you also assuming that with a new coaching staff coming to town that current players have no incentive to be in shape - that they are going to be in the same roster position just because the old coaches had them placed there? If so I got news for you, this staff already evaluated and rejected recruits selected by the old staff and decided they didn't fit the new mold. Current players better be ready or face being shuffled to the rear or out.

All of that makes sense to most people with more than a third grade education, but it’s lost on allvol123.

Which would put me grades ahead of you.

A guy that does not remember what he said, has a bar of acceptability that starts at irreparable harm(something he can't even provide an example of), and believes it is perfectly fine for a program that has a double digit conference losing streak to continue on status quo.

Of course it won't matter. He has free reign to succeed as much as he can.

It is a message board. People discuss things.

Some people like fr just get emotionally hurt by that.

"i don't like it, and if you don't either, you have low standards"

why?

"you're a sheep that blindly follows any coach at UT"

huh?

Pretty much sums up allvol.. He's just pissed because things aren't being handled the way he wants them to. For some reason he's mad and it seems he just wants to stay that way.

He argues that the program is 'sitting still' and not progressing.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

When you consider where we were when he was hired and what he's been able to do staff and recruiting wise all while being involved in creating a game plan that held Clemson to two field goals and 188 yds total offense.

I have not been genuinely excited about UT football in quite a while, but after last night and where he has us positioned recruiting wise, I am excited. One more week and he will be the FULL TIME coach for UT. Here's to looking forward to what he will be able do...

My assumptions are perfectly reasonable based on watching too many current UT players get pushed around by SEC foes for the last couple of years. There have also been too many reports suggesting that the weight room was optional for some time. Despite the claim, you have offered me nothing new in your post

A jake wannabe.

Someone disagrees with my stance = hates everything.

Pathetic.

Are you challenged or something? you continually see things in posts that aren't there. I did not use the word hate. I said pissed and mad.

Yes, we DEFINITELY disagree. The reason you appear mad/pissed, IMO, is your incessant whining over this issue, your refusal to answer very simple questions and your use of insults when people disagree with you.

I am suddenly reminded of Mark Twain's advice; “Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”

Good luck and have a nice day.

There is another saying, I can't fix stupid but I can point it out.

You’ve had your backside handed to you on this thread. Go sleep it off then re-read your posts in the morning and see how ridiculous they are. It will do you some good.

I can wake up everyday for the next 100 years and you'll still be same ignorant fr.

Like your emotions.

You habit of searching me out on this board goes back a long way. Your insecurities get the best of you.

I like the back-n-forth to be honest and you’re easy troll bait to argue with. It’s what a message board is for anyway, it gets way too boring if just all “Go Vols”. I actually like a lot of what you post, but your love for Kiffin and this irrational thinking about Pruitt still coaching at Bama was just too over the top for me.

Aww...is this you making up?

Kiffin is awesome and Pruitt should have never worked another day for the tide. 2 indisputable facts.

It was real easy to admire the finished product of Coach Pruitt's handiwork on the field. Real easy.

Yeah, Kiffin is awesome. As he sits in Boca Raton staring at his phone while a bunch of power 5 programs snatched up other coaches.

Pruitt’s decision to continue coaching Bama has ZERO impact on our win/loss record for 2018, therefore it’s completely irrelevant, as are your feelings about it.

There’s the 2 facts you were looking for.
