Conferences are beginning to consolidate. The WAC won't be the only conference to die within the next few years.

Yeah. Brent on 3HL last night had mentioned WKU and NMSU but there has been no other reports so I think he was wrong.

But it is better. The kicker is, had MTSU not accepted the invite, someone else (probably WKU) would have.

Shame. Would have like to see them move to the Big East, with Rutgers and Louisville moving to the ACC.

MTSU can compete on a bigger level than CUSA. They stomped Georgia Tech earlier this year. Moving to a bigger conference like the Big East, would've helped them bring in better recruits and add to their facilities.
