people are probably reading too much into our Adidas deal if they are expecting it to impact NIL deals this year. The deal doesn't kick in until June or July of next year. Keys will already be in college by the time any Adidas funds hit UT's pockets.

Has Keys said anything about a definite date that he would confirm his LSU commitment or switch or has he just left it vague that he’s still not 100 percent to the Tigers? 🐯

Posted direct quotes from TK in this thread from Aug 19. He says its about development for the league. Yes, there will have to be a plan. Yes NIL will be a component (LSU just restructured his deal with them). But its development.

But that is latest info ive seen.

This article isn't directly about Keys but Loy's quote tells me our staff feels really confident in flipping him as well as some others.

As long as the ( lsu committ) is beside his name and he says, development for the NFL is #1 for him ,
The ones saying we aren’t getting him are being realistic and less ignorant than the ones saying we are.

I don’t know if we will or not but until he de-commits from LSu I’ll assume we aren’t.

AP has come out and said that if he is going to flip, it would be before his football season starts which is this Friday.

If not, this thing will go deep into the fall and he will likely take additional visits.

Either way, (If he does flip or not) this one is going all the way to signing day.

Isn’t out of it? What? Do you not read what I’ve written and said on loop.

I don’t see him sticking with LSU has been stated by me for 6 weeks and TN has the best relationships so I feel like they have the best shot.

We pretty much need our receivers and Donte Thornton to ball out this year or the wheels fall off at LSU and them clean house to flip him
