If you added Hiter and Keys to the class right now we’d still be ranked 6th in recruiting which would be 4th in the SEC so no. This conference don’t play when it comes to talent acquisition.

Top 5? No. For that to happen quite a few of our recruits would have to get serious bumps along with getting Hiter and Keys. In all honesty there is almost no way possible for us to get into the top 5.

Hiter, Keys, then flip Blair and Givins, then add Brody Smith. That would get us into the top five for now, but then someone else would probably pass us.

Nonetheless, I would be over the moon with that result.

Not sure, but with the expansion to 105, it won’t matter. We’d be at 103 and I doubt we’d use all those.

Quality plus quantity. The top 4 teams in recruiting have at or near 30 commits as well as a ton of 4 star commits. All 4 of those teams have 20+ 4 ️ commits, 5-10 ranked teams have 10-13 of those. Makes a big difference

We're still working on other big recruits like Gray and Blair, so missing 1 or both doesn't assure we finish outside the top 10. And I would be willing to bet Keys isn't the only flip we try to make.

Also, 10-12 isn't quite middle of the pack in the SEC. That's roughly 6th in a league of 16 teams. However, Hiter and Keys together would likely solidify a top 7-8 finish based on recent signing classes.
