'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

I don't know why Swain would say that. Apparel deals never have anything to do with NIL deals. Someone else asked how I know this for a fact, I know how both NIL deals and Apparel deals work. You don't have to take my word for it. It doesn't matter to me. But ask someone you do trust.
It’s a new world. NIL didn’t exist a few years ago. The world is changing and so can deals

For ex, Imagine getting a $40M apparel deal with Adidas. But the agreement is you give us $30M but use $10M for NIL deals for our athletes

I am current on my understanding of how apparel deals and NIL deals both work and how one does not necessarily have anything to do with the other. It doesn't sound like any of you are suggesting that having a current apparel company could inspire NIL deals for those athletes which is a decent argument but we all know based on history that it doesn't necessarily matter. But even in those situations the NIL deals themselves would have nothing at all with the money the apparel company is paying the University to sponsor them. The NIL money is MORE money from the COMPANY directly to the athlete. I don't see how this is so confusing.

I don't get why so many of you guys are attacking me. I have attacked none of you. I never claimed to be an insider so I can't be a fake anything I never claimed to be.
You claim to know a bunch of things "for a fact" (your wording), when you're just pulling stuff out of your ass. That's why people are calling you out.

I assure you, and it doesn't matter that I have no idea what you're talking about, I don't pull anything at all out of my butt. I don't say things I don't know to be true. You don't have to believe me and I don't care if you do, but you don't get to call me a liar simply because I pay more attention than you do.

This kinda response is the real reason why they are coming after you. I have no dog in the fight but just catching up on the pages and every response from you is just full of sass. 😂

100% pulled out of your ass unless your last name is Hiter or you are Hiter's agent or attorney. They are the only people that would know these things. If you are Hiter's agent or attorney, then you should be fired for posting this type of stuff.

Michigan and Tennessee are offering more than any other school in the country. I'm not making that up. It's why they are at the top. I'm not making that up either. I don't know why people have so much trouble accepting this. It's the same reason we will get Keys if we get him.

This was reported on 247 and mentioned here in this thread. Every team but Tennessee and Michigan had bowed out due to NIL. Even that A to Z rag reported on it and I only mention that because that was also linked IN THIS THREAD. You guys are attacking me simply for paying better attention.

You conveniently skipped this one because it blows your theory up about addidas not being a factor in this recruitment, so I will ask again.

Why wouldn’t addidas want to focus their NIL deals on athletes attending addidas schools?

I have zero inner knowlegde, but if I were Addidas I would certainly rather a player I sign to an apparel deal play for my signature university than for a Nike school. So it would be in my thought process.

I’m not talking about the money they pay to the school. I’m saying it would be in their better interests to sign big time guy’s to NIL contracts if they are playing for addidas schools.

You didn't pay good enough attention, though. Reported that UGA and Ohio St had bowed out due to NIL...thats not "every team". And, Ohio St reports on their Sports Illustrated account that they lost out on Hiter due to their NIL offer being "weak". That's Ohio St writers saying that.

There are FOUR TEAMS LEFT. I refuse to engage in this any further. Y'all figure it out.

Nothing to figure out, imo; but, ill still help YOU out, though.

Just because there are "FOUR TEAMS LEFT", doesn't mean that teams OUTSIDE those four didnt come with on par NIL deals, and Hiter said no thanks. I'm sure Oregon and Texas brought the checkbook anytime they talked to him; yet, since he didn't like ALL of the many other different aspects of Oregon's and Texas' recruitment of him, as much as he did UT's and Michigan's, they didn't make the cut. In which, that would negate your "NIL is the reason UT and Michigan are at the top".

So you saw it on the internet, so you know that it's true. Got it, smart guy!

It's shocking that anybody has issues with you.

Don't act like you are being more enlightened than everyone else. You are making assumptions and filling in gaps. You are leaving out other details. You have no idea if those 2 offers are the biggest he was offered or by how much they would be bigger than other teams are offering. You have no specifics about that. You have no idea if that is THE reason he is choosing between those 2 schools specifically. What other factors are guiding his decision, you have no facts on that. It is only the NIL amount, that is a fact you are privy to huh? Nope. You are acting like you know something that you don't know. So don't go acting like a d!ck because people called you out on it.
