'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

Last cycle alone we flipped:

Isaiah Campbell from Clemson (not directly but we were working him which led to his decommitment)
DaSaahn Brame from Oregon
Jaedon Harmon from Bama
Jadon Perlotte from USC
Daune Morris from USC
Tim Merritt from Miami
Brenden Anes from Wisconson

Some of you acting like flipping Tristen Keys is just this impossible task is loser mentality. I guarantee we end up with a few flips down the stretch again this season.
Go ahead and add when they committed to us to help those folks understand there’s a ton of time left

Travis smith

He is a monster and more physical than anyone else. All will be good. But he is special.
He just looks slow to me. Granted some of the best receivers in history ran 4.6s, but apparently after he ran the 40 for Georgia they decided to back off a little. Not sure if that’s true or not, but the person that told me that would have no reason to lie about it

Sounds like a Georgia fan. And they will make other excuses when he catches a TD against Syracuse and has a good season. Dude will be very good.

Same here. His speed in high school wasn't impressive. He did say he's improved on that since he got on campus. He's added muscle and improved his running technique. We'll see against Syracuse whether he's faster now. Personally even if he's still not that fast I did think his high school tape was good. He can be a physical possession receiver. That still works in college.

Not worried about that, Jerry Rice ran a 4.71 and is in the HOF. We don't need him to to be a track star, we just need him to get open and catch the ball. Look at Cordarrel Patterson, he ran a .4.42 and couldn't run routes or catch worth a damn. Cooper Kupp runs a 4.62, Devante Adams 4.56. DeAndre Hopkins 4.57.

Don't believe that's true about Ga, they did too much negative recruiting against TN in his recruitment.. Exactly why he hates Ga.

4.5 but his scouting report has never had an emphasis on speed. Hes a 5 star because of his combination of length, body control and ball skill. His game is entirely about size and catch radius.

Is he faster than Bru Mccoy? I think Bru ran like a 4.6 and Tillman wasn't a speedster either and look how good he was for us. Travis played in Atlanta and was a top 100 player for a reason he will be just fine.
I think Bru was faster before all his injuries than he was his last year here. Travis Smith has enough speed but is a great route runner, can beat DB's at the point of attack, and huge catch radius. Not a burner but fast enough to be a 1st round pick.

VN has been infiltrated by a bunch incel betas. They act like we only get people that no one else wants. We win and lose recruiting battles, that's the fun of it.

Does anyone have a real sense of a timeline for this one?
AP said if it's not before the start of the season, it could be later in the year. It was already mentioned that Keys may go to some games this year. Kinda like the Hezekiah Harris recruitment, we may have to wait closer to ESD to see Keys flip.
