people are probably reading too much into our Adidas deal if they are expecting it to impact NIL deals this year. The deal doesn't kick in until June or July of next year. Keys will already be in college by the time any Adidas funds hit UT's pockets. This ambiguity has me lost.
Kid is busy with his season. Committed to LSU, when we led. Kept visiting here, keeps talking, and loves it. BUT says development for the league is tantamount. Signs with Adidas, has three Adidas schools in tow.
People talk about Adidas, NIL, competition. Kid is an alpha, wants to play with the best. Isnt concerned about competition.
AP says take the field. Lots of emojis, little substance.
rev share, nil futures, nil now. they can create a future package and plan for him. he's a 26 kid.people are probably reading too much into our Adidas deal if they are expecting it to impact NIL deals this year. Posted direct quotes from TK in this thread from Aug 19. He says its about development for the league. Yes, there will have to be a plan. Yes NIL will be a component (LSU just restructured his deal with them). But its development.but is planning to enroll early for the spring.
if you believe its about the money, he isn't going to wait around to get his "real" Adidas money.
Define close. He said we were getting Hiter. More than once.He rarely posts, old profile but he’s norm pretty close with his statements.
Based on some of the recent chatter, I wouldn’t be surprised if Keys announcement went down early next week. His season starts 8/30. If not it could be a long road.
As long as the ( lsu committ) is beside his name and he says, development for the NFL is #1 for him ,The ones saying we aren’t getting Keys are just being intentionally ignorant and negative.
@MarcoVol how the turntables..."I just feel like choosing development over money is a smart business decision, honestly," Keys added. "When you get on the field, make plays, more opportunities come."

Nation's No. 1 Wide Receiver, Elite Five-Star LSU Football Commit on 'Flip Watch'
Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers have dominated the recruiting trail this offseason with the program landing commitments from multiple blue-chip prospects. Afterwww.si.com
"When it comes to money and development, of course I'd take development first because we trying to get to that big money, which is NFL," Keys said. "When it comes to 700 to seven figures, and the production is there with the 700, I would take it because I want to be ready and prepared for the next level as fast as possible. So development is No. 1 for me, for sure."

AP has come out and said that if he is going to flip, it would be before his football season starts which is this Friday.Has Keys said anything about a definite date that he would confirm his LSU commitment or switch or has he just left it vague that he’s still not 100 percent to the Tigers?![]()
