I googled what LSU was/is. They are a NIKE school. They do have athletes of other brands and the athletes wear that brand. Evidently, there's a way around that for student athletes.

Definitely is. OSU is Nike but Jeremiah Smith an adidas athlete.

I think the implication is that with our new adidas deal + his brand ambassadorship that he’s getting PAID paid. Not just paid.

That's not what it said. They cited someone at LSU, I think it was a female basketball player wore another brand of shoes because she had her own NIL deal.
